I am an adult that still likes crayons, I'll admit it! But the coloring books that I found were clearly geared to the 5-year-olds, and that was a little young even for me. This book (and its companion volumes) is perfect for a doodler and crayon user of any age. Fun to leave out with crayons and pens, and watch who starts to doodle. It is irresistible.

I have bought this and other Taro Gomi books. They are all wonderful books that help you and your kids expand your imaginations. Lots of fun - more than traditional colouring books. And this one is a good size for tucking in your tote bag to take on the road/restaurants and the like. Highly recommended.

This is a marvelous book. No matter the age of the child this book accommodates. All you need add is imagination. All skill levels apply. I bought a number of these books and added boxes of colored pencils for my grandchildren. Everyone of them is at a different age but it didn't matter. They loved this book!

I was given this book as a present for my daughter and I want to keep it myself! It is a completely different approach to a coloring book. Sparks the imagination, makes you feel a little silly and wonderful at the same time! My daughter loves it.

I saw a Taro Gomi book at a library and I just had to buy it at Amazon. I ended up getting two larger books "Squiggles" and "scribbles" along with "Doodle All Year". I gave the larger books to my young niece (she was elated) and I kept "Doodle". I love it, it takes me back to my childhood and to drawing outside the lines! The book is refreshingly simple and you don't need to be an artist. I highly recommend it for those rainy or snowy days!

Found this at an art museum on my travels and thought it would make a much better souvenir than a t-shirt for my 6 year-old son. He loves it! And so do any adults that pick it up too! Doodle All Year is 365 days of coloring pictures or adding creatively to the scenery as the artist asks you to. Starting in Spring Taro Gomi's cute basic outlines and instructions lets your child be creative, not just rote "staying in the lines" type of coloring.

A definite hit! and worth every penny.

Neverending on imagination and creative play, this five-star book for children is only one of our doodle books by Taro Gomi. We have every book by Gomi and one per child. Our kids are two years apart and they all love their Gomi books. And, what better way to keep a journal of all your children's artwork together than a book that is already bound? Brilliant!

This book contained quite a few pages that were already colored on.
Otherwise it was in okay condition, but it was not as I had expected.

Now here is a great idea; create a very long book filled with pages meant for a small child to draw in. The book is thick hence lots of pages, each of which has a small picture and a short sentence to ignite the imagination. Perfect gift to start up a career in visual graphics, graphic design, painting, or just plain drawing.

This is such a fun book. I had gotten it to take on the road to keep children entertained, especially in restaurants. The kids really enjoy using it, but I wish it had been smaller. It takes up a lot of room in my tote and can be a little heavy to lug around. But still cute, and very fun!
