This is a great gift, my daughter loves it! Just wash it and it's like new...I only wish you could buy the light pens like you buy the extra markers. 3 days and it was lost, and I can't seem to find any replacments without having to get a whole new bear.

We just got this doodle bear for my 2 1/2 year old daughter and we love it! The bear is soft. My daughter especially likes the glow pen. The bear itself doesn't seem to glow very well, though. We have already hand washed and machine dried her which didn't take very long. She seemed to get slightly lumpy after washing, but all in all she is a very fun toy.

You can use any kind of UV LED pen to write on these. There're a bunch of "secret" marker type toys that use invisible ink and a UV pen. (Although the ink in those might not be washable, check first) Googling for UV LED should show bunches of keychain UV lights that will work.

I knew my twin nieces (age 7) wanted a doodle bear for their birthday so I just chose this one after a long research. Living in Italy and far away from them (Ohio, USA) it's hard to understand their likes and dislikes. But I was told that the girls are happy and excited! They enjoy playing, writing, washing and watching the night glow. Positive feedback...definitely.

Got this for my daughter last week - she LOVES it (I must admit, I think its pretty cool too!) - Bear is adorable and the glow pen is unlike anything Ive ever seen. My daughter takes her Doodle Bear wherever she goes. My only proble, was finding one - theyre sold out everywhere. THANKS AMAZON.

This doodle bear is just too cute. My 6 year old loves it! She does want to wash it every day, which gets old, but does not make this any less fun.

Not too impressed with this toy. My daughter got it two weeks ago for her 4th birhtday. She has fun coloring it as does her two year old sister but that usually lasts about 10 minutes and then I need to wash the thing again. I really liked the idea of the glow pen as I don't have to wash the bear after but I have to supervise her every second she is using it to make sure she doesn't shine it in her eyes. Nice idea but not really suitable for a child Age 3 and up. My daughter has shined it in her eyes a few times (as it happens so fast some times it's hard to catch) and now I'm worried I need to get her eyes checked to see if she has any eye damage. I have to hide the pen and only take it out when I have time to sit and supervise. I have other supervisable toys that are more worth my time. Don't think we will play with this one much longer.
