I started listening to Axxis with "Utopia", then went back to "Doom Of Destiny" and "Paradise In Flames".
This CD is great. I love the vocals, especially with the female accompaniment. All choruses have the usual hook. All good tracts. This is a harder rock style, not necessarily heavy metal. For all fans of Old School/Prog Rock.

This CD is okay, but nothing great. If you like the band then it isn't bad, but for those of you like me who experiment with CDs out there; not worth the money.

I ONLY HAD ONE ALBUM OF AXXIS "KINGDOM OF THE NIGHT" AND THAT WAS A CLASSIC. I'VE LISTENED TO THEM SINCE A FEW SONGS FROM THEIR LATEST ALBUMS BUT I BELIEVE THAT "DOOM OF DESTINY" IS THE CLOSEST THAT THEY EVER GOT TO A TRUE MELODIC METAL. IF YOU LIKE PREVIOUS AXXIS ALBUMS, THIS IS DEFINETELY A GREAT ALBUM TO YOUR COLLECTION...I HOPE THEY KEEP PUTTING OUT ALBUMS JUST LIKE THIS. BESIDES ME LIKING THE ALBUM, I CAN ALSO SAY THAT SEVERAL OF MY FRIENDS HEARING THEM PLAY IN MY CART STAREO HAVE ASKED ME ABOUT WHO "THESE GUYS ARE" FOR THEY ARE NOT TOO POPULAR IN AMERICA, BUT THEY SHOULD BE FOR THEY ARE GREAT....
