Book Description

Robotech May 12, 1987
The Robotech Defenders Thought The War Was Behind Them!

A war without victors, that had brought two races to the brink of extinction. A war without spoils, save for the devastated Earth itself...

A new-age ark, the Super Dimensional Fortress had returned to its ravaged homeworld, and those who had lived through Armageddon began the painstaking process of reconstruction. But they had the Zentraedi to help them, former enemies who shared a common goal -- survival!

But all was not well in this bravest of worlds....Unaccustomed to a life without warfare, many of the alien giants were reverting to their old ways. Now one had appeared who vowed to lead them back to their former glory -- Khyron! -- an alien culture's hero reborn to pick up where Dolza had left off!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good book but a little unbelievable, August 28, 1998
This review is from: Doomsday (#6) (Robotech) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book ends the Macross saga of Robotech. It was exciting and had a great climax and storyline, but the ending was kind of depressing and very unrealistic. Even through that, it is still worth the time to read this. If you like any of the other five before it, definitely read it.

3.0 out of 5 stars This one is not the best book in the series., June 23, 2008
This review is from: Doomsday (#6) (Robotech) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the last of the "first generation" of Robotech. Lots of main characters are killed off. The book ends on a grim note. Humans seem to have no hope. The next book begins the "second generation". This one is not the best book in the series.
