fabulous if you have doors without molding, December 9, 2001
This review is from: Door Easel (Toy)
Its a very simple concept -- two plastic hooks that go on top of a door, a roll of paper and a generous sized thin plastic sheet to slip behind. you can pull down as much paper as you need, and hang the easel as low as you want -- very nice for a small child for e.g. and actually, you could just pull the paper down to their eye level. I don't think you could put this together for much less $ if you tried to pick up the different pieces yourself. It does not work if your doors are not smooth slab. you would need to tape on poster board or something to smooth the surface behind.

I bought a door easel for the home and the kids love it. I never thought that I would see the imagination bloom as it did with this toy - It also helps keep kids occupied and within sight! I was so impressed with this that my husband has one in his office for brainstorming meetings with his staff -- Keep this one around and buy two! You may want it for more than one door in the house! Thanks Art Skills!

What a gift was given to me with my first Door Easel. I mounted it on my door with expectations of seeing how poorly I had developed my art skills in the past few years. Instead, I found myself using this ingeniously simple device to think, to vent, to communicate, to solve problems, to tell jokes, and yes... to draw. Turns out, I haven't been so uncreative all this time! I am planning on getting Door Easels this holiday season for my frustrated artist friends, my 'visual thinker' friends and every child on my list. Thank you Art Skills for a great product. What else do you make? I want to buy it!
