A very nice THIN wallet just about perfect for my back pocket. I purchased the slim slimmy one as well but this one is far Superior. It has pockets for the most used cards providing easy access and a pocket for those not use often. A clear ID pocket and a simple cash pocket in a neat clean package. I highly recommend this wallet for those who like a thin wallet.

I was looking for the lightest, slimmest possible wallet, and the Dopp Getaway is just about perfect. For the first couple of weeks I kept sticking my hand in my pocket to make sure it was still there - it's that unobtrusive. It's made out of soft, thin leather (so thin, actually, that the embossed lettering on my credit cards shows through the surface). That might affect the durability, but it certainly keeps the overall bulk of the wallet down. The illustration shows a large embossed crest, but mine arrived with only discreet lettering saying "Dopp" at the bottom - a significant improvement, in my mind. The wallet has pockets for 3 credit cards and a little pouch, open on the top and one side, to hold your cash. There's also one additional pocket that's ideal for other documents you just have to carry. The only slight negative for me was the caramel-colored vinyl lining of the cash pocket. I don't know why they used such a low-class material there. It's invisible from the outside, and not really offensive, but if I could change one thing, that would be it. I debated knocking off a star for it, but the overall function and appearance of the wallet is so excellent that I thought it deserved the full five stars.

Overall, if you're disciplined about what you carry, you'll love the small size and low bulk of this wallet.

Update 2010: I'm now on my second one of these - they seem to last about 3 years for me. I actually think that's pretty good, given how little material is present. I'm sure the durability is helped because you don't sit on the thing. If somebody sits on your lap a lot, of course, you'll want to factor that in to your expectations. Still a great product, and when I wear this one out, I'll buy another.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. It is so much more comfortable than other "slim" wallets because there is no outside clip for dollars. All his important cards fit easily and there's plenty of room for folded bills.

This wallet is decent for those looking for a slim wallet but a couple things would prevent me from purchasing the same one. The leather is of good quality and with 4 cards inside it fits in my front pocket without any noticeable bulge. It has a clear plastic window for the driver's license; however, it gets dirty easily and starts to look a bit ugly. I would prefer the mesh that you see on other wallets. There is about half a centimeter of extra leather along the edge of the cash pocket that seems completely unnecessary. Removing this would make this wallet even more compact. Lastly, the stitching on my wallet has started to unravel at the edge.

For the price it is satisfactory but I will look for something that has had more thought put into it for my next wallet. Perhaps I will try the Slimmy.

What can i say - it's a wallet.

I like carrying something really small. The Slimmy is nice, but with this wallet my ID is visible. Since I fly for work, showing my ID to someone happens twice a week. So the Dopp Regatta is more convenient.

The wallet is indeed thin, as I wanted, but I did not realize that it didn't have a pocket for the bills; rather it had two open sides. This makes it seem as though the bills could become easily dislodged. I would not have bought it if I had seen it in person.

I really like how thin this wallet is. All my previous wallets made my rearend look like I had a malignant growth on it. Yet even with the decreased thickness there was still plenty of room for all the important stuff I needed in there.

This is my second Dopp Regatta 88, the first one lasted for 4 years. Durability and compact for someone on the go this is the wallet for them.

This front pocket wallet is wonderful. Everything I need to carry, credit cards, ID, cash etc., fits in the wallet. It's wonderful having your wallet fit securely and comfortably in your front pocket. I liked this item so well, that after I used it for a month, I purchased two more, fearing they would become unavailable.

I bought this so that I could easily flash my I.D. to get on the public transportation and it does that nicely. What I don't particularly care for is that the wallet is about a half inch to a full inch taller than a credit card. This is a personal opinion and other's may not feel the same, but it does do a very nice job of making you forget that it is in your front pocket. Good Job Dopp!
