Editorial Reviews

"Save Diego!" continues to introduce Diego, Dora’s cousin, who is an animal rescuer. The main episode takes place in Diego’s rainforest as Dora and her friends come to his rescue. The DVD includes 2 main episodes, one of which is a never-before-seen and 2 bonus episodes, each approximately 24 minutes in length.

This is one of the few Dora DVDs with a Spanish language track (oddly). It's the same voices as the Spanish version of Dora on TV, so our kids are definitely hooked! (Twins, bilingual boys)

There is lots of Diego on this DVD - and he does weird talking to the animal stuff (might be better in English).

Overall, good stuff

Even though I haven't seen this before, this is an astonishing DVD. My favorite part was when Dora and Boots saved Diego. At first, I didn't know why Diego was is trouble. But now, I know why he was in danger. This DVD was so surprising. I like Dora the Explorer.

I just got this great VHS yesterday. I liked the first episode called "Save Diego." When Diego was on animal rescue missions and was rescuing a baby parrot, his rock climbing rope gets caught on a branch. It's up to his cousin Dora and her best friend Boots to rescue him before he falls into the prickers and thorns. He could get hurt if he fell in. When Dora and Boots get to Rocky Mountain, Diego's friend Baby Jaguar leads them to Rocky Mountain. Dora was worried that Diego could fall into the prickers and thorns. When the rope tore, Diego quickly grabbed the rope Dora had thrown him and almost fell into the prickers and thorns. My favorite part was rescuing Diego. I thought it was funny when Diego giggled as Boots said his favorite part was pulling Diego up the cliff and said that his favorite part. In Baby Jaguar's Roar, Swiper scares Baby Jaguar's best friend Baby Bear. And he runs all the way to big mountain and cannot move. It's up to Dora, Boots, cousin Diego, and Baby Jaguar to the rescue. All the friends chat about moving like jaguars.

My grand daughter (age 3-1/2) loves this DVD. She may wear it out before she turns 4.

My 2 grandchildren will literally watch Dora over and over. They talk to the t.v. during the interactive segments, and I feel that they actually learn and have fun at the same time-which is rare. They are 3 and 5 years old. This is far and above, a better choice than the cartoons for this age group. So in closing, I do not think that you can go wrong with Dora, but I wish that you could buy the whole season in a boxed set.

I bought this for my 2 and 1/2 year old granddaughter. She loves it and watches it as much as you will let her. She recently had to make a 4 1/2 hour car trip and was so interested she never made a sound except for interacting with the video. It is well worth the money. she especially likes swiper when he says "o man"

My three year old daughter loves Dora's videos. She watches each of them all the time. They have yet to fail us. She LEARNS so much from them. I don't feel as though they are babysitting her. Instead, they are teaching and entertaining her. I homeschool my nine year old daughter, and this is a subtle way of homeschooling my three year old. It is a supplement to her laxed, but effective curriculum.

This was our first Dora movie purchase and my son would watch it 24/7 if we would let him. He is 2 1/2 and I think he has watched it at least once everyday since Christmas. If your kids like Dora I would highly recommend it.
