My kids love Dora. I bought this DVD without knowing was was on it, so here is a list of the specific episodes on this DVD;

-Lost Map
- Hide & Go Seek
- Journey to the Purple Planet
- Rescue, Rescue, Rescue
- Star Catcher (I was so happy they had this one, it's my kids all time favorite episode)

I bought this video for my 2 year old expecting 3 or 4 episodes, it has 8! And my daughter LOVES it!

Has a lot of episodes that keeps my son just looking and singing! Love it and my son does too

I bought this and my son, aged 4, has watched it for 1 week straight. He's even forgotten about all the other cartoons on TV. It has a variety of episodes that keep him and his sister (2) entertained. A definite must-buy!

comes with 8 , 20 minute shows so it's great to be able to have choices that are short and sweet. i'm really not digging the 1 hour 1 show per DVD thing going on with Dora these days. and what's up with double length, 1.5 hour shows?! too much i say.
this one is perfect. wish they had more like this one.

8 full episodes that entertain kids for many hours on a long car ride. What's not to love?

My 2 year old daughter loves Dora the Explorer. This video is no exception. There are about 8 episodes with her favorite the "Purple Planet" one.

My son LOVES Dora and he loves this DVD! There's several episodes packed on one DVD, so it's a great deal. The colors are bright and vibrant, with one episode right after another. If your little one loves Dora, this is the perfect Christmas or Birthday gift for him/her.

Our grandkids brought this for the overnighter. After you put the disk in your DVD player, you and the little ones are forced (they block all menu shortcuts) to watch 5 1/2 minutes of very hyped commercials for more Dora disks. If you mind being held captive to the marketing department of the company that produces this product, I would suggest to you that there are tons of DVDs for children that do not do this and most of them contain better content: e.g.: all the Disney titles, Peter Rabbit, etc.

Now if your children or grandchildren demand Dora and you do not knuckle under, they might very well try to veto your decision, stage a protest or even a full-scale mutiny. All I can say is that good parenting is hard. But the end result is worth it.

This is a great set of Dora shows. The video is pretty long so if you have a Dora obsessed little kiddo like I do, they will love this! I guess I don't see why anyone would ever rate it less than five stars unless there was something wrong with the dvd. If you know what Dora is like then you should already know what to expect and this video kept my son entertained for hours!
