I HAVE BOUGHT EVERY SINGLE DORA DOLL EVER MADE AND WHILE MOST OF THEM WERE PRETTY LIMITED AND GOT BORING FAST, THE MAGICAL FRIENDS DORA DOLL REMAINED THE BEST IN ALL ASPECTS....UNTIL NOW. I AM AMAZED AT THIS ONE!! THE PRINCESS DORA NOT ONLY SAYS A VARIETY OF PHRASES AT RANDOM, HER HAIR MAGICALLY GROWS AND SHORTENS. THIS IS EXTREMELY ENTERTAINING FOR LITTLE GIRLS!! THE BEST FEATURE OF ALL IS THE BEAUTIFUL FAIRY TALE SONG THAT DORA SINGS. IT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR STAND ON END. BEAUTIFUL. SIMPLY THE BEST EVER!

What a great fun toy. My daughter received this toy for her third birthday. She had already seen Fairytale Adventure Dora and she absolutely loved the doll as soon as she saw it in the box. She is having a great time making the hair grow and putting "pretties" in Dora's hair. It is the first thing she asks for when she gets home from preschool. She answers Dora's questions and dances when Dora sings the catchy little song from the movie. Our daughter has a ton of toys and this is hands down her favorite. I would highly recommend for any little Dora fan.

I read the other reviews and yes my 4 year old daughter also really likes this doll but prepare to do alot of brushing. When her hair is long it gets very messy. The "tips" in the instruction booklet say to keep hair brushed for lasting life of toy. Here's a better tip....keep those elastics in her hair when you buy her. Other than that the toy is made well.

My daughter Skyler has seen the commercials for this doll and we have almost everything made with Dora on it...like most of us do, but she was so excited to open her Princess Dora and loves it!! My son Drake loves it too, lights up and sings a song you keep singing!! BUY THIS, not expensive, worth the $20.

I actually bought two of these for my two year old twins. It is a great toy. I had them hidden and planned to wait for Christmas, but then my twins [who are two years old} found them. The toy is for ages three and over because it says that small parts could be generated..... I guess if something breaks....... I would find this hard to believe, it is very well constructed, and I let the kids play with this { I did not know that it was for three and over when I bought it }. It is a very safe toy. When you touch her forehead, her hair grows. my twins love this doll and love the hair. They usually get bored with toys almost immediately, but they have been playing with this toy non stop for almost two weeks. I have never seen a toy that they liked like this. It has the other features of Dora with the two different languages. This doll plays several cute tunes. One other thing......... My twins fight over this doll........ each one of them wants two of them..... they are not satisified with their own toy, they want to have their sisters toy as well. Maybe I will have to buy a third one of these.

Natalie rec'd this for her birthday this year. She just turned 2 october 04 and really loves dora and dolls. This one really captivates her very much though b/c it talk to her and even sings! She know how to use that "magic wand" to make dora's hair grow longer or shorter, even w/o me telling her how to do it! I was amazed at how easy this doll is to use! The downfall to the princess dora is that it has an all hard body. There is defintly no snuggling up to this toy at night! also it's heavy. I woukldnt say very heavy, but the gard plasic makes the doll somewhat heavy for toddlers to carry around. also, she dosnt say that many different phrases. Does have an on/off button though and is very pretty! a very nice toy for the toddler who loves dora!

My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday. She just loves it. She loves brushing her hair and singing with Dora. She loves the wand and making her hair grow. Since her party, she takes this everywhere. And we must watch the Princess Dora movie everyday while her doll sits next to her. What a great toy!

This is another one of those toys that does 1 thing. My girls played with it when they first got it for about 2 days and have never touched it again. Pretty boring. It sings and its hair grows. It is really hard. At least with soft toys the kids can cuddle it as well. Skip this one unless your child is a die-hard Dora fan. For us, it is one of those toys that will end up being given away.

Combines Dora style and adventure with the more traditional fairy tale theme. My daughter loves to play with her hair and style before Princess Dora tackles the Medeival world with Boots!

I got this for my daughers and they played with it for about a day and then got tired of it. Over all this toy is very durable and it plays cute tunes and you can make her hair grow.
