I bought this for my excited, couldn't wait to play, 5yr old daughter. She's not new to playing some video games, and even though she was thrilled to play this one (5 times now from start to finish), it only takes her 1 1/2 hours to do so.. and now she doesn't even ask to play it!. Its quite easy to play, not actually having to "jump or touch" the jewels/gems for them to be had. My complaint is, it only last 1 1/2 hours from start to finish!. To spend $25 to $30 bucks on a game that they can finish in a short period of time and get bored with after doing it a few times with nothing changing for characters or adventures, sucks!. In my opinion, its a waste of money when they only make it as simple as they did, and as short as they did.. totally unfair to parent and child!..

This game looks fun but.... I think my 5 year old was too old for it. So i dont really know what age would play it, because my 3 yr old would be too litte but my 5 yr old is to old ?? It's super easy and It just doesn't hold her attention and I haven't seen her play it in a LONG time

I'm not crazy about encouraging my 4 y.o. to play video games, but as an exercise in bimanual coordination, I am not opposed to short periods. My girl is nuts for Dora, so it was a natural first choice. I hunted down a secondhand copy and we sat down to play.
First the good things: the graphics are bright and simple, the animations are fun. Now for the the bad news: The game is way too flippin' short. Even if you try to get every single blessed crystal, it only stretches the game to maybe 2 hours. I don't know where the other parents are getting this 20-30 minutes duration; the counting games and in game animations eat up that much time by themselves. Even so, that is simply too short. 2115|R2XZH8DLNYIVZD;2115|R1F3KQL2H84DYW;2115|R2HKW0O0F47XPK;
