Even though this bed is VERY adorable.... the canopy is not made for toddlers. We received the box took everything out and began our journey to put it together. First, when we opened the box it appears to have been used even though it clearly stated that it was NEW. Nothing was labeled and here we sit with a million pieces. After all our hard work i walked into my daughters room the next night and the canopy was destroyed and laying on the floor. My daughter is 2 and not a wild child its just that the pieces that hook the canopy together are PLASTIC. Really if your going to make something for a toddler it shouldnt be made out of cheap plastic that you can snap it into with your fingers. Just FYI for anybody planning on getting this for their child. If I would have known this I would have saved my money and just bought the bed w/out the canopy.

So this Dora bed us very sturdy and adorable, my daughter loves in and she is 2, so for any age this is cute!!! Perfect for your Dora fan/Princess!! Even comes with bedskirt which I didn't expect: )

This bed is so cute!! My daughter got it as a reward for becoming potty trained. She is sooooo proud of the bed, she tells everyone about! My only complaint is that some of the screw holes didn't match up on the canopy poles, but was easily fixed.

she just fell off the bed once and now she sleeps on that bed really well!

This toddler bed looks really cute, especially for your little Dora fan. Our little Dora fan even looked at it on the computer with me, and waited for it to get here. After her Daddy and sister spent many hours putting it together, we all figured out that it was a shoddy piece of junk. The frame under the mattress is sturdy (so far, it's only been one day). The poles that hold the canopy up can be bent by your pinky finger, and the joints that hold each pole together are made of plastic. I don't think we can fix that, now that they've broken apart. The poles went together crooked, and my husband had to drill holes out to make them work with the hardware provided. Let me tell you, a three year old can destoy the canopy poles faster than you can get into her room. I would recommend saving your dollars for a twin bed, or whatever bed you want for your child, but this is a cheap band-aid to switch from a crib to a bed.

My husband and I were hesitant to buy this bed after reading numerous bad reviews about it. However, I could not not stop thinking about how aDORAble the bed was and how much our daughter would love it, so we bought it. It really did not take long to put it together, everything lined up perfectly, the bed is very sturdy, we are pleased with our decision and most importantly, our daughter loves it! The canopy is a wonderful touch...it just adds so much more character to the bed than the standard version. We are glad we ignored the other reviews and followed our heart....would buy it again in an instant!

my daughter absolutely loves this bed. She had no problem going from crib to this bed... perhaps it is because of Dora but it is safe because of the side rails, i love it and definately recommend

This aDORAble bed was purchased for our granddaughter! She was 19 months old when she started sleeping in it and absolutely loves it! We have NO complaints. Hubby put it together in less than an hour...could have been less but he had help from our granddaughter. Screw holes did not match up, but as stated by previous reviewers this was easily fixed! Would buy this bed over and over again!

My parents bought this bed for my 2 yr old daughter. The bed took forever to put together, nothing lined up right for the screws, and we ended up having to use a power drill to get them in. The canopy lasted for about 2 hours before it broke. You get what you pay for, so $70 for a bed really should've been a clue that it wasn't that great, but you would think a bed built for a toddler would've been at least somewhat sturdy. Guess not.

My two year old has been sleeping in her big girl bed for 6 months now and she loves it!! Be careful with the canopy since it is quite flimsy. I am very surprised it is still standing lol ( just pulling on it will break it)
