My husband wants me to warn you all:
Continuous playing of this CD in the car or while operating heavy machine may cause serious brain damage or shortness of breath. Parents shoud take special precaution when listening to "Bouncey Ball" which is known to provocate eye twitching and spasms. If you keep in mind that it is the 30th track on the CD and you have already been bombarded by such favorites as "I am the Map" or "Bate Bate Chocolate", you can grasp the lethal effects it can have on a parents sanity and health.

NOW, that said, my 4 yr old is CRAZY about this CD, sings along with the songs and it really is a great buy! It has lots of songs, alot familiar from the show/videos. A must for any Dora fan....

Unfortunately my Husband may not live til summer if he has to keep hearing it over and over in the car...we often find our heads bobbing up and down to the beat and its scary...: ) .... so I sometimes have to hide it....I agree that after awhile my eyes begin to cross.....and once I told my Mom when she was in the car with us that some of the songs were lethal...by the time Bouncey Ball came on, she asked "Is this one of those lethal songs you talked about?" - That Proved it! I had not even told her!!!!!

I bought the CD and I wasn't too happy with it. Neither was my daughter. We still listen to it, but most of the songs are very short and they don't have a lot of variation. We are stuck on song number 37 (Swiper no swiping) and the other songs are unmemorable and less than a minute and a half long. Not worth the money,even for my little Dora fan can't stand it for long.

Why did Nick Jr. wait so long to put this little gem out? It would've been fantastico for our Dora birthday party last year. With a super-sized selection (44 songs) this CD is a super bargain! The extensive playlist spans several Dora TV seasons, from Backpack! Backpack! to Baby Dino (with cousin Diego) to Buenes Noches (with the baby twins, 2005 additions to the Dora cast). Since we purchased the CD my girls have listened to it every...single...time we get in the car! A must buy for Dora fans of all ages. Bueno!

Great DVDs. There are 3 in the case. Each one has 2 or 3 episodes, plus about 2 bonus episodes each. My daughter has expanded her vocabulary from watching these dvds and knows a few of the words in spanish. It has a comprehension component, which is a plus!!

Now you can watch Dora non-stop on DVD AND listen to it in the car too!

I bought this CD together with Diego's Animal Jamboree. After listening to both, i'm so disappointed with the Dora CD, coz the songs are way too short and lyrics are somewhat meaningless.

Although i dislike this CD, i can't say the same for my 3YO daughter who seems to like the music. Then again, it's probably because she could relate the songs to segments of the show.

I would recommend it to all young Dora fans, but for parents, don't set your expectations too high or you'll be disappointed.

This has been alot of fun for my 3 year old daughter to sing and dance with Mom, Dad and her friends. We have used it in the car often on long trips. If you child is a Dora fan, it's a great purchase!

DORA THE EXPLORER IS MY FAVE, FAVE, FAVORITE CHILDREN'S SHOW EVER!!!!!! I WAS SAYING AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS "SWIPER, NO SWIPING, SWIPER NO SWIPING, SWIPER NO SWIPING! OH MAN!!!!!!'' I KNEW EVERY SINGLE PLACE THEY WERE GOING, SO I SAID THOSE PLACES AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS!!!!!!!! I ALSO SANG THE SONGS AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS!!!!!!! I LOVE DORA THE EXPLORER!!!!!

My son really enjoys listening to CD's via his personal player and headphones. His tastes range from ABBA to the Police, Backyardigans to Madagascar.

Knowing that he enjoys Dora the Explorer books and DVD's--and seeing that this CD featured 44 songs--I thought I'd buy it for his birthday.

Although there are 44 songs on this CD, the run-time is only 42:03 minutes. Do the math and you can see that some of these songs are just snippets.

However, my son has been listening to it at least once every day--all the way through--and seems to enjoy it. He'll even take it upstairs and put it my CD player to listen to.

If you're a parent and the songs on Dora the Explorer irritate you--especially because of the repetitive nature of the songs--you may not be thrilled playing this in the car and having to listen to it. It's kid friendly, but not parent-friendly.

If your child enjoys music and likes Dora the Explorer, he/she would likely enjoy this musical CD.

THIS CD WAS PERFECT FOR MY DAUGHTER WHO IS A BIG DORA FAN, THERE IS ABOUT 44 SONGS ON THEM MOST ARE LIKE 2 MINUTES OR LESS BUT IT WORKS FOR HER. ANYTIME SHE GETS FUSSY IN THE CAR I JUST POP THE CD IN AND SHES DANCING IN THE BACKSEAT. GLAD IT MADE HER HAPPY :))
