I challenge you to find a better sword for this price. This is probably one of the best katanas I've owned. It comes sharpened, but not ridiciously sharp. Took care of that problem. It now slices bamboo with a quick one-handed stroke. I'm just waiting for someone to get stupid and try breaking into my home. It doesn't rattle at all, so I'm pretty sure the guy won't hear anything besides the whistle, but by then it'll be too late. Durability is another thing I love about this blade. I've put it through countless tests and it still maintains its edge. I do give it the necessary amount of TLC to prevent rusting and dulling. All in all, for less 100 dollars, you aren't going to find a better sword. Five stars, hands down.

for a sword thats only 350-ish its a great item. it has been reduced to $100 on amazon which makes the deal even better. quality of the blade is excellent. the blade was cleaned thoroughly before it was shipped. sharp but not to sharp. definitely not just an ornament to be placed on top of the mantle to collect dust. nothing is unstable at all. for $100 you wont find a better sword

I did a lot of research before I made this purchase and this was the best sword I could find for the price. It's very sharp right out of the box and it strong. I've used it to slice through some 1" to 2" thick tree branches and it was like cutting through butter. The sword has a leather wrapped handle that is plenty large for two hands, and it has two blood grooves running down the length of both sides of the blade. Very cool. The scabbard is made of a lightweight wood or bamboo and the cord is wrapped intricately along the length of it. There is a gold dragon on one side near the top of the scabbard making it a nice item for display. I have mine pearched on my mantel above the fireplace on a stand and it looks great. Great as a decoration and great as a weappon.

This is an altogether great sword. It is well made, the grip is firm and feels good in ur hand, and the blade is waited to the last 6 in just like a good katana should. It is a tension sheath meaning that the sword is held into the scabord bu force. As a result it is hard to draw at first. Though soon this changes. Also it was very dull though again not a problem. The only fault I've bean able to find in 6 months(and its barely a fault) is that the metal used for the hand guard and handle throat(the little band of metal ant the top of the handle wrap) is a copper colored metal that was painted black. The paint can rub of if scraped or rubbed to much. Though honestly it looks slightly cooler when its a little ware like that. The only other problem with the sale is that the scabord is wood and is coated in a thin gloss cover. This cover is very easily chipped but if its on display that wont be a problem. Altogether it is a great product and i would suggest it to anyone looking to buy a sword.
