My son (just turned four) loves this big book of Dora stories and what is not to like. The pictures are super colorful and FILL up the page.

There are 7 stories inside, plus a Spanish Word Guide on page 190.

NOW for the Downside:
--At least some of the Stories in this book are shorter versions of one's available singly.
--The book is not very sturdy. The copy we borrowed from the Library (which is supposed to be better made that what we can buy) was falling apart: pages slipping out as if not bound well.

Five Stars. Despite it's BIG drawbacks, my son adores this book and so it is a good value for us. Big colorful pictures. Good Read-aloud. If your child is enamored of Dora, this might be a good purchase.

I just gave this book, along with a Dora board game, to my 4-year-old niece. She LOVED it. After opening it, she insisted that I read her 4 of the 7 stories while at her beach-side birthday party! She was much more interested in the stories and their large, colorful illustrations than in the Dora board game that I gave her along with this book. My only complaint is that most of the stories are pretty wordy, and I imagine not all children have the necessary attention span. I'm thrilled with the book, overall, though!

I got this book because I previously bought a box set of Dora stories and my little one was always looking at the books they showed on the back and asking for them, but I could never find another set and this book has most of the ones I was looking for. It even has a spanish guide in the back for the most commonly used words inthe books with a phonetic pronunciation for them. My little guy just loves it!

This is a really cute book, over 100 pages, filled with 7 different Dora adventures. My kids are big Dora fans, and absolutely love this book. We've had no issues at all with the bindings, everything looks nice and tight and has held up well.

it's his favorite book. he's 18mos old and insists on this Dora book before he will go to bed. it is very colorfull and well written.

I have a 3 year old who loved Dora. We can read a story at bedtime. The book is not huge, but it works well and since it is a compilation, I do not have to worry about her losing them or scattering all the books around. I would buy it again.

My daughter received this book for a present when she was 15 months old. She loved it from that moment and still loves it at almost 2. She didn't know who Dora was until she got this book. Now she likes anything that has Dora on it. My husband and I both like this book much better than watching Dora's TV show, which is very repetitive. Yes, the stories are long, so not all kids will enjoy it as young as mine did. However, the illustrations are full page, colorful, and not too complex, so it's fun for little ones to look at. The only problem with this book is that we had pages start to fall out after a couple of months. Starting at the back, pages just fell out of the binding one by one until the entire last story was out. At first I tried taping the pages together, but as we got more, this didn't work anymore. Eventually, I tried hot-gluing the pages back in. It worked for a little while, but one page just came out again and others are loose. I'm thinking of buying another copy and hoping the same problem doesn't happen again!

I have a 3 year old grandchild who thinks everything is about Dora. This is a nice assortment of Dora stories, a lot cheaper than buying all the individual books. If they like Dora, it's great!

I've purchased three of these types of collections (two Dora, one Backyardigans) and my son loves them. Unfortunately this particular book had the binding fall apart on me within 2 months. This wasn't due to misuse, we're pretty careful with our books. Pretty annoying to be reading and start having pages just fall out.

My kids sing the back pack song with the story and it makes reading it go much quicker since it is easy to know what is going to happen. Just like in the videos. My boys love it!
