Looks like Milo DIDN'T Go To College...
"Dorkrockcorkrod" (a palindrome, if you didn't notice) by the Ergs is pretty much a Descendents album.
And I mean that as a compliment, in the best possible way. The songs are just as hooky, melodically satisfying, geekily endearing, and musically competent as anything that the boys who made "Milo Goes To College" have been able to throw together.
In all honesty, the Ergs are flat-out FANTASTIC pop-punk band that actually flex their abilities beyond the Screeching Weasel/Queers sector of the genre. While it is very Descendents-y, I'd have a hard time finding a better pop-punk album made after 2000.
Highly recommended.

great straight ahead catchy punk with a sense of humour. not lame pop-punk, think Bouncing Souls, only these guys are much better musicians.
