When you read von Goethe, you don't read it just for the story, you read it, because it's beautifully written.
The story has a beautiful ending and few write better than von Goethe.

brilliant and effective literary imagery. As relevant today as in the time it was written. Goethe lives forever. I have read this more than five times in my lifetime and it still resonates the beauty and brilliance of compassion and natiolnalism.
