4.0 out of 5 stars two romantics, March 10, 2004
This review is from: Dos Romanticos (Audio CD)
There is a musical tradition in Latin music that is aptly refered to asRomantico. In Cuba it was called "filin", Portugal "Fado" and in Mexico,of coure Romantico as expressed so passionately in Bolero style. The great Mexican songwriter Manzanero, and the great dramatic singer-Libertad, alternate songs. They do not sing duets together but you may find that in the duet albums they have recorded. A great introduction compilation for newcomers to this passionate romance music!

4.0 out of 5 stars alternative romantics, February 24, 2004
This review is from: Dos Romanticos (Audio CD)
The album alternates recordings by each of these stars of Mexico's Romantico genre. You won't be hearing duets between the two. However, both artists are steller performers and they do appear and sing duets on two albums. This recording is a good introduction to both artist's work.
