If you are a nursing student this is a must have book. It includes dosage calculations and other important nursing math. Great to have if you are a beginner or if your math needs refreshing.

I believe that this book is too vague and does not provide enough information. It does not explain why or how things are done and does not provide better examples of each type of problems. I believe that the book Calculate with Confidence is a much better book as it provides much more information. Unfortunately, the school I go to requires Dosage Calculations.

This book came in a timely manor It was just the wrong edition which is my fault. I need the newest edition which is the ninth edition. Overall quick feedback to be able to return.

I am entering the medical profession and this is the dosage calculation book that our college uses for its nursing program. I'd heard dosage calculations were one of the toughest part of the curriculum, so I bought this book to use at home before I had to take a course for credit. It is easy to use, tons of practice, step-by-step so you can teach yourself without an instructor. Well worth the investment...and way cheaper than the college bookstore.

This book is an excellent source of review and knowledge learning for the dreaded MedCalc exams that hit each nursing student in the face during the first week of each semester. The math skills review section is concise but clear, and the dosage calculations learning section is full of helpful tips and real-life examples. I cannot compare this book to any others of a similar nature because this is the only one that I've used, but I believe that it will be useful to people who are math-impaired as well as those of us who do not struggle with math. "Dosage Calculations" helped me to conquer the fear of learning how to calculate medications.

I really liked this book for Nursing math. It is straight forward, and has tons of practice problems to work through so you understand the concept. Would definitely recommend for someone in a Nursing program who needs a refresher in Math before or during a Nursing program!

I purchased this book not b/c it was required but recommended. It's very easy to understand and great for brushing up on your math skills. Highly recommend this text for incoming nursing students.
