Book Description

An encouraging word for you my brother, my sister; to uplift your spirits for the times when giving up and giving in seems easier than fighting. This is a book of devotionals that will give a little encouragement to all those who read the words on the pages. I pray that this book affects your life postively and that you share it with others.

Editorial Reviews

I am not reviewing my own book because it will be one sided. However, I am asking you to review it and be honest with me. I learn from criticism and I grow from encouragement.

From the Author

When I begin writing a daily devotional, I didn't realize the magnitude of people that it actually touched on a daily basis. See, this started out simply as daily posting to Facebook which then lead to a blog and now it has manifested itself into a book. Oh! You will probably never be able to imagine how grateful I am to God for giving me such an amazing gift? I often refer back to the scripture in Proverbs 18:16, which says, "A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before great men," because even though I had no idea how my gift would be used or the many it would touch, God did. See, we sometimes get frustrated reading the bible because of the biblical words and context in which they are written or used and we give up but God has allowed me to be able to use his words in a simpler way that gives, sometimes, a better understanding. Am I a bible scholar that knows the bible from the front to the back, no? However, I study, I ask questions and I trust God to give me an understanding. Am I perfect?  No, this is why I can tell you how God has blessed me through the struggles I've seen and still seeing and even those I've yet to see. I don't proclaim to be a preacher, minister, evangelist or prophet but I am who God has made me and he made me in His image so I am worthy! I am who I am because of whose I am and not because of who or what I think I am. My journey has just begun and I've strapped myself in for the long ride.  I don't know where God is taking me, so I'll just enjoy the scenery on the way! I pray this book uplifts, blesses and encourages you!

The message goes to MY heart. / I wish my 16 year old son would read this, and help him in his struggles in life. . I love him so much, but he just does not learn from any of the wrong he has done. I pray for him all the time. Please Lord bless this child, Amen.
