the child played with the dog for about 2 hours, enjoyed it. it wasn't as exciting as the dog that barked and flipped over, but for the price it was a cute gift.

I got this as a birthday gift. Miniature Dachshunds are my breed, so I love things related to them. The toy is very cute, but way overpriced by the seller. Comparable toys by the same manufacturer are ten dollars or so (which is the most that I would pay). There's even a link on the product page to another website that sells it for only 8 dollars plus 6 for shipping, which is almost half of what it is on here. I wouldn't expect it to hold up over time with kids. If you love doxies, it's a cute novelty. but don't pay more than fifteen dollars for it.
