Double 18 Color Dot Professional White Dominoes Titles

I've collected dominos for awhile, so I decided to pick up this double-18 set. A few notes:

1. Pips are all the exact same size. (some big sets have bigger pips for 1-9)
2. Coloring in pips is consistent for each number and well done.
3. Made in Taiwan.
4. Case is flimsy vinyl-covered cardboard.
5. Each domino 2" x 1" x 5/16".
6. The backs all have a very slightly scuffy texture, making them slightly distinct.
7. 190 dominos in this set. The box is designed to hold 196.
8. No games came with it. Not even a sheet of paper.

I've seen some better quality double-9 sets, but this is the best quality "big" set I've seen.

Double-9 is the largest set I regularly use. This is a really huge set.

My mother and kids love to play Mexican Dominoes. This one is a bit longer. Great game for your family. No directions included.

I really enjoy playing Dominoes! Thats why I purchased this set! It is a unique set in that, I have never seen Double 18 before! If U dont mind playing a long game of Dominoes & have more that 4 boring players (U can have up to 10-12 people play @ 1 time) I suggest this set to you!

These are really nice dominoes with good crisp colors and seem to be really high quality. We had a wonderful time playing with them, although you may want a calculator to total your score! The only drawback is they don't come with trains or with a holder to keep the dominoes straight while you play. The company was very truthful about the dominoes being of high quality construction and the case being of medium quality construction. I don't think it will fall apart too quickly, but it is not quite what one would expect for such nice dominoes.

Playing dominoes is a fun and educational game that can be played by the whole family. We play with age groups form 7 & up. Sometimes a younger child may need some help, but usually they outplay us. We find Mexican dominoes the greatest and most fun. You will like this set. You can sort them to play as double sixes, nines, twelves, fifteens, or eighteens. You will not regret buying this set.

I bought this set about 3 years ago (late 2008). The tiles have been repeatedly dropped onto a wooden floor, and when I am in Mexico playing, dropped onto a concrete floor. Surprisingly, none have broken. The backs of the tiles do get scuffed up with use, but that does not impede the use or make them identifiable. I expect to get plenty more years of use out of the set. The case is a flimsy, vinyl box that although it does hold all the tiles, it is already breaking apart. I have to keep the case inside a bag because tiles fall out of it.

The game came with not a scrape of paper, but you can print game rules off the internet. Set includes a flat, clear plastic 'hub' for Mexican Train. I have bought a wooden hub and never use it because you cannot see over the height of the wood to see what tile the players opposite you have laid down in the hub. So I use this flat plastic hub instead, which is also very portable as it too fits inside the worthless case.

I paid $50 at the time I bought the game, so this is a good deal at $38.

the dominoes are great, but the case they came in is flimsy. We travel with them a lot and had to put it in something else to keep it from being damaged. Wish it had been a metal case like our other dominoes set.
