This was a very quick read, once you start reading it's hard to stop. After the clever introduction to all the characters, the drama begins. It definitely keeps you guessing, by the end of the book I thought I had everything figured out and I was wrong. I would highly recommend curling up on the couch one Sunday morning with coffee and this book.

Education, money and power, are what make the world go round among the Chicago's elites featured in this novel "Double Dippin". But that doesn't mean they have everything going for them.

Married couples Chase, Jazz and Shaun and Asia star in this suspense drama that showcases professionals in demanding jobs. Although they have the money to buy what ever their hearts desire; money can't seem to buy them out of secrets, infidelity, and murder!

Cleverly written by author Nicole Falon Garrett, as she challenges the reader to uncover the concealed motives behind the actions of these complex characters.

Looking for a good suspense drama then pick up a copy of "Double Dippin"
I am not a big fan of sequels but in this case I hope the author brings back these characters!

Double Dippin' was one of the best reads I've had in years. Each day I found myself counting the minutes until I could continue reading. For 3 days I perfectly timed the baby's bath and bedtime so that I could see what scheme Amber was plotting next. Or if Asia ever snap out of her numbing fog. The story weaved and turned from chapter to chapter, leaving me anxious to get to the next. Bravo Nicole......you hit a home-run your first time up to bat.

Please don't leave us waiting too long for the sequel.

I don't really have time to read these days, but glad I gave this one a try. It was a page turner which deviated from the typical suspense dramas and rewarded with surprises in the end. This book is an "easy read" for those who don't have a lot of time, but want something fun, sassy and interesting to read!

If you're looking for an quick read with suspense, excitment, and nail bitting chapters, then Double Dippin is the novel to read. I loved the intro to the characters and quickly formed my opinions of each. Amber, I hated right off back, she was bold and scheming, but everyone has another side. Chase,Jazz, Asia, Shaun...well these are four people you want to get to know and may even find yourself in one of them. Money, power, and murder, Nicole Garret has entertwined an exciting read, that will keep you asking for more. I'm definitly looking for more from this author in the future.

I brought this book just to show my support because a coworker of mine was related to the author, but much to my surprise I really enjoyed the book. It was hard to put down. The suspense was great. Usually you can read or watch a movie and pretty much have it figured out half way through, but not with this book. I highly recommend this book. I am anticipating there being a part 2.

Murder, mayhem and mystery intertwine the five lives in this suspense drama, "Double Dippin'." Author, Nicole Garrett rotates the narrative as she unveils the many surprising plot twists and turns. However, be prepared to expend an effort to follow some of the character's development and minor storylines due to the multiple rotating perspectives. Moreover, the quick plot resolution yields an anticlimactic ending.

This is a must read for anyone who loves excitement and suspense!! I must admit at first I was a bit put off by the cover but once I took a peek inside I was captivated from beginning to the end. I couldn't put it down!!! It was like watching your favorite soap opera only reading it instead. The author did a fabulous job of bringing this book to life and making the reader feel as though they were right in the room with Amber, Jazz and the rest of the characters. Brilliantly written!! I'm frantically awaiting the sequel or movie perhaps? Kudos to Nicole!!!

I am an avid reader and Double Dippin was hard to put down, it got straight into getting you caught up with the characters and the scenarios. I liked how the characters were shown with average people's thinking processes even though they seemed "above average" with their life styles. I really enjoyed it, even if I did read it in 2.5 days ( that's what happens when you are held hostage by a book! ). Am waiting on the next novel....

I am glad that I took the time to relax and enjoy this one. Double Dippin' offers all the elements of a good read and delivers on each point. There is mystery, intrigue, romance, suspence and even a "covert operation". The book flows nicely and kept me engaged all the way through to its highly effective ending.

I recommend this selection for book clubs as well...a coworker purchased this book after seeing how much I enjoyed it. We had so much fun dissecting the characters and their perspectives and particularly liked the local references to Chi-Town.

Kudos to the author! Is there a sequel in the works?
