Frankie Smith and the Double Dutch Bus rock the house. You cannot lose with this fun music -- re-mastered CD sound quality is excellent BTW. Someone told me there is an investigative reports show about Smith and this record -- he claims he never got a cent for this proto-rappinghood slice of brilliance. Wouldn't be the first time that happened. There must be some connection between this and Malcolm MaClaren's Double Dutch cut on Duck Rock -- not to mention that Missy Elliot track with the Asian kid -- if they were't straight samples of DDB they were sure copying the style. This CD release has added original 12" mix, and a re-mix. Frankie Smith rocks the house!

THE DOUBLE DUTCH BUS CD/MUSIC IS ALL THAT AND SOME. I'VE BEEN TRYING TO GET THIS MUSIC FOR A VERY LONG TIME. I HEAR FRANKIE SMITH HAVEN'T GOTTEN HIS MONEY YET FOR (DOUBLE DUTCH BUS)! HE IS DUE IT AND EVERY PENNY.
FRANKIE SMITH, I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR FUN, GOOD, CLEAN AND CRISP MUSIC LIKE THIS. ITS' VERY CATCHY TUNES ARE FUN AND I SAY THIS BECAUSE MY FIVE YEAR OLD WALKS AROUND THE HOUSE SINGING THE LYRICS AND THAT REALLY SUPRISED ME WHEN I HEARD HIM GOING ON AND ON.
