We have had this windchime for years hanging in our front yard, it spins beautifully, its great to see the inside helix spin one way and the outside one to spin the other direction. It never gets hooked up (unlike the one with the hanging glass bulbs in it, which gets hooked up on itself all the time, no matter how carefully you try to balance it, it doesn't work for long). This makes a great gift too. It said something about coating it if you want to keep it the shiny bright unweathered copper look, we didn't, so its less shiny and more weathered, but I still love the look.

This is fantastic - it's outside our large living room window, and is just beautiful! Like watching a fireplace, it's actually calming & comforting. Everyone needs one! The seller is also great - this is the second time I've ordered this item (the first for a new deck on the home of friends), and each was delivered as promised & right on time!

I had an odd situation with a wedding registry gift that Dave at Twirly Things helped resolve to my total satisfaction ... he was open, honest and accomodating ... he even sent me a new spinner which I love ... Especially how the inside spins in an opposite direction ... I'm buying more as gifts since mine gets so many compliments

I was going to hang in my back yard, but the spinner was so good looking, and made so well, that I had to show it off, and put it by the front door. It was well packaged, and made to last. Plus, you don't see them everywhere! I plan on buying a larger one for the backyard.

I didn't think this would work as well as it does, but the inside helix does spin in the opposite direction of the outside one. Mine was making some noise after a while when it turned, and then the outside helix would only spin in a strong breeze. A little shot of WD-40 on both axles fixed that, and now both turn quietly and easily. It's nice to watch when you're sitting outside.

I gave this as a gift. The recipient was delighted with it. It arrived in a timely fashion and in good condition.

I have had this for many months, and it's always in constant motion. It's amazing how well it has held up, through
the winds and rain.

This spinner works as it is supposed to, but after having it outside for a few months, even after waxing, the underside is pitting and rusting. I thought that copper did NOT rust?
