Don't get confused people. I read the review for the 1992 version and it is the wrong one. This flick has the beautiful Rachel Ward in it, not Ashely Judd. Though she's pretty hot too. I'd hate to see somebody order the wrong movie by accident. Anyway be careful and take it light.

I bought this movie because it had Sela Ward in it;but that turns out to be not enough of a reason to get this.The story is just ok,and the acting isn't that great.Sela also doesn't appear as much in this movie as I thought she would.Check out 54 if you want to see some of Sela's best work.

I'm looking for this movie on DVD, just for the novelty of it: Not great in any respect, but the "police station" was my 100 step (if that) studio apartment in Utah, and the outside scenes (mostly), are the exterior of the building. Funny how they do that movie magic.

My review (very good) is the movie with Ward/Boxleitner. So don't add my vote to the more recent movie with a Judd starring. I did not see that one, and don't intend to.

This "Outstanding" movie deserved an Oscar in a "heartbeat". Not only was the subject matter gripping and leaving you on the "edge of your seat". The wonderfully talented and of course, beautiful Ashley Judd did a remarkable job in this movie. Her character was so "credible". The well-noted Tommy Lee Jones, as usual also did a wonderful job. These two fine actors, acted wonderfully together. I'd love to see them in another movie, hopefully soon. They did such an remarkable job in the movie that they deserved an Oscar. This is a "must see movie".
