I don't buy a lot of country music but am definitely a fan of Mickey Gilley. He's always a good listen whether on a road trip or background when doing household chores. Also very easy to dance to. Always a pick me upper, toe tapper, and just plain fun to listen to.

Overall, this is my favorite Mickey Gilley album, and I have several. Like I mentioned in the title, the first 10 songs are smooth easy listening, romantic type songs, and the next 10 are pure "Ferriday, Louisiana", Boogie Woogie Piano songs.
So, with this CD, you get the best of both sides of Mickey Gilley. Thanks!!!

Mickey had a commercial, lite country sound to me. These get most of his good songs home. Some of the numbers sound shallow and dated, others sound very good. Great for MG fans.
