Book Description

May 19, 1999
This book provides today's investor with an objective view of the current economy and stock market. With the goal of capital preservation, readers are given a wakeup call in the midst of stock market furor. A review of historical economic periods puts today's market in perspective, and methods are provided by which to track the economy and stock market and determine their course. The action plan will help minimize any damage that Y2K could inflict on a portfolio. For the aggressive investor, ways to profit from market panic are itemized.

This review is from: Double Whammy:Y2K and the Coming Recession (Paperback)
This is a great book. If I'd read it three years ago when it first came out, I'd be very wealthy today. However, I did just the OPPOSITE of what this book said to do, thus, I lost a lot. Robert Logan's book, is a great learning tool. It is concise, to the point, and very prophetic. Here we are in the midst of one the worse recessions in history, and one of the worse bear markets in history, and Logan saw it coming 3 years go. Great book!! I wish he'd write another one about the NEXT 3 years (2002-2005).
