Lil Wyte, new hot artist,
By Ben Britton (Frederick, MD) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Doubt Me Now (Audio CD)
Earlier this year, i really began to not like rap, like at all. I was mostly getting into rock like Staind,Chevelle and some others. Well one day at work this guy brought this cd called LIL WYTE, and he convinced me it was good so i listened to it, and WOW!! This is the only rap cd i've bought in soo long and can't wait for him to come out with somethin new. His beats are all tight cuz of three 6 mafia and his lyrics are just DAMN good. This has probably been the best cd i've bought in a long time and I recommend it to everyone, even if you dont like rap!

By A Customer
This review is from: Doubt Me Now (Audio CD)
I hadn't heared from three-6-mafia in a minute so i thought they'd fell off. But then ride spinners comes out! Next thing i know someone tells me bout lil wyte and i'm like who who the hell is that. So i go to the mall and listen to the cd no later than 2 mins later i had it in my cd player. That boy got some tight lyrics and they hooked him up with the beats. Ne 1 who like three-6-mafia or that south music should pick this up i think this is one of the albums of the year. I hope he can keep it up with another hot album after this 1. Da Unbreakables album by 3-6 is hot 2 so go pick em both up u wont be dissappointed, trust me. Wyte is one of the tightest rappers i've ever heard, no joke!!!!!!!!

"BEST SOLO TRIPLE SIX RAPPER SINCE KINGPIN SKINNY PIMP",
By Rocks In My Socks (Cleveland) - See all my reviews

This was undoubtedly the best album of 2003, and showcases the next big talent in the rap game. Lil Wyte is a pretty good lyricist and his flow is original. His debut blows all of Feminem's material out of the water. From the first track "Doubt Me Now," I was amazed at Wyte's beats and flow, which sound nothing like typical Paul & J productions. Other standout cuts include "Oxycontin," "My Smokin Song," and "Acid." Overall, Doubt Me Now is a very good album, and is a solid debut for this up & coming rapper.

When I first saw this album advertised in a magazine, I couldnt believe the trash that was being released. But then i heard people talking about this guy Lil Wyte and how good his flow was. Since he was with Three Six I figured I'd give this album a chance. So I borrowed my friends cd and I couldnt believe what I was hearing. this goofy little white guy was spitting some serious lyrics. If you like Three Six Mafia or any of there other artists you have got to hear this album. I havent got around to buying it yet, but im gonna buy it. I could just burn it on my cd burner but I think thats its worth the money. Some of the best songs are-- My smokin song, blame it on the bay, Doubt Me Now, Oxy-Cotton, Comin Yo Direction, and Zero Tolerance. There are some hot beats on this album and believe it or not this guy can rap.(and he doesnt have a little goofy voice either, you cant even tell that he is white listening to him)

This white boy really set it off on this cd, you cant put this boy down and you cant doubt his abilities on the mic. I bought this along with his latest follow up "Phinally Phamous" and i have to say out of the two this one is the better choice now dont get me wrong his 2nd Hypnotize release isnt a flop at all i just personally enjoyed this one alot more and still bump it often.

When D.J Paul said he didn't need him, he proves it with Lil Whyte! This boy rips up every track he gets his hands on! And what makes it scary...this is his first cd! He can only get better. And the new cd by LIl Whyte is even better. So T-rock Who! LOL!
