5.0 out of 5 stars More Italian Magic
Toto Cutugno said that everyone sings in Italy. Eros Ramzzotti is someone who sings very well. His unique Italian country voice is one of the things that he knows how to turn to his advantage. All songs on this album are good. There is melody, rythm, and inspiration in them. It is no accident at all that Eros Ramzzotti is an Italian phenomenon with a world-wide appeal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Eros' best studio CD, April 22, 2001

This review is from: Dove C'e Musica (Audio CD)
I have been a Ramazzotti fan for over 12 years and own all his albums. Dove C'e Musica is my all time favorite. It's his most mature and musically complex release and stands above his earlier work (which is great in its own right) and his latest effort Stile Libero (which is a solid 4 stars). The studio version of Io Amero is sensational but it's worth checking out the acoustic version in the live album (which is my second favorite album). L'Aurora and Quasi Amore are two of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Lei Pero has a great bass line. Stella Gemella is intriguing. Basically this is a CD you listen beginning to end, it's that good. I must admit a heavy bias towards his Italian versions, for some reason the Spanish ones just don't do it for me. In any event, this is a very well produced album and stands out as his best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Fabulous!, May 24, 2000

This was my first Eros Ramazzotti CD purchase. The songs are incredible! His voice is awesome, not to mention the beautiful lyrics and musical arrangements. Eros' many awards is a testament to his extraordinary talent. If you want a modern, expressively beautiful Italian ballad, listen to L'Aurora (the dawn) named after his daughter. From then on, check out his other CD releases. You'll discover that his ENTIRE COLLECTION is indispensable. Somehow makes you wish you were Italian. A truly remarkable person.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Non-English album ever!, February 8, 2003

If you are going to listen to something that isn't sung in English, then listen to this.
It was the first of his albums I ever heard, as he was never released in New Zealand. But I was fortunate to be in Italy in 1996 when this was released. I eventually found out his name and bought this CD, and later, then rest of them, I don't regret it for a minute!
Every track is well created, every song is sung impeccibly.
He isn't the biggest selling non-english non-opera act of all time for nothing! He is the only act who doesn't sing in English to continually make the top 30 best selling albums worldwide.
Best tracks are: L'Uragano Meri, Piu Bella Cosa, Stella Gemella.

5.0 out of 5 stars Art in Any Language, January 29, 2000
This review is from: Dove C'e Musica (Audio CD)
I listened to this album a lot during the months that I spent working on my dissertation. It inspired me, allowed me to forget about the drudgery of the research I was doing, and simply reminded me about what good art really is--a universal language of aesthetic rapture. Unfortunately, I cannot give this album more than five stars. I finished the dissertation in record time, and now the research that went into it has become the basis for my new book. Are these Italians inspirational or what? When I lived behind the iron curtain, Cutugno, Celentano, Al Bano & Romina helped me through the dull, boring gray Soviet reality. Ramazzotti helped me through misunderstandings, professional jealousies, pseudo-morality, and idiotic, stale scholasticism I was forced to exist in at times. His album also reminded me to remain true to my creative side and to trust my heart.

5.0 out of 5 stars Filled with fantastic songs!, November 14, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Dove C'e Musica (Audio CD)
I remember waiting for this album to appear in stores when I was living in Italy. It was definitely worth the wait. "L'Aurora", "Piu Bella Cosa", and "Stella Gemella" were my favorites, especially this last one. I loved to sit on the roof in Italy, listening to it while watching the stars appear. These three songs along with the others on the album really affected me. Now that I am back in the States, they are some of the few things capable of giving me such vivid flashbacks of Italy. This album was an extraordinary effort on the part of Eros Ramazzotti!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars ANOTHER Great CD, April 5, 2004

This review is from: Dove C'e Musica (Audio CD)
Eros just has the best quality pop songs ever. He always comes out on top album after album, definitely beautifully composed and his singing talent, spectacular always Eros style. So much gift and emotion sang into them, with great lyrics, for me, best italian male singer.
What a gift.....a must...and I also recommend for sure EROS 1997 and all the other that have come along in his long successful career that I cannot believe how fast time passes. Eros has been singing for over a decade...and still puts out his best out there all the time. It is Awesome!

5.0 out of 5 stars An English only speaking American says "Wonderful!!", June 5, 2002
By
This review is from: Dove C'e Musica (Audio CD)
I purchased this CD a couple of years ago at a local store in my area. I love this CD so much that I am buying this CD again.
If you like foreign culture and have any interest in foreign language this is a must have.
I have been studing music since I was little. I am proficient in playing the Cello. I have even composed music myself.
This CD is a favorite of mine. I played it over and over again in an attempt to sing along. I know some of the lyrics by heart.
I find this CD beautiful, wonderful, highly listenable, and I still have not grow bored of it.
Even though I have no idea about what the lyrics are saying I still like to try to sing along. It is great way to learn the sounds in Italian.

Sincerely,

John Kelly

4.0 out of 5 stars Italian Music, August 30, 2007

Great CD when hosting an Italian meal. Heard the music being played at an Italian restaurant (Amici's in Niles); they were kind enough to give me the artist and the title. I never would have found it otherwise.
