As I already had the '001' CD from this group and have enjoyed it, I was happy to find this disc referred to as 'the black album'. Both are excellent. However, this one blew me away! There's not one song in this collection that didn't win me over before it was done! The drums are relentless and kick-ass! Comparing the 2 albums, this one incorporates more of a 'bluesy' feel which I appreciate. Treat yourself and add this album to your collection.

This is a very good cd - the first one they did, and my personal favorite. I have never understood how this fine group keeps getting overlooked.

I've owned this CD for almost 5 years and it is still one of the best produced CDs in my collection (the kick drum sound is amazing). The band writes fantastic songs and is one of the greatest Chicago exports ever.

I own this CD and had to unique opportunity to sit in a small recording session in Detroit sponsored by 105.1, a local radio station. The music is superb, and the guys are very personable. I would reccomend this CD to anyone and everyone who loves modern rock. These guys are great live, too, so check them out at a venue near you.

This record is released on January 26, 1999. The title is - 001 - and is promises to be one of the best records of 1999. This Chicago band is signed to Aware/Columbia Records. I work for Aware Records and I can tell you that this CD is absolutely amazing. Ten songs, each delivering everything you should want from a modern rock band. Nothing fancy, no gimmicks here. 001 is going to be a low-priced CD, so take a chance, it will be well worth it. You heard it here first. Listen for the single, 'Level on the Inside', to hit radio mid-January.
