Magnets are so weak they couldn't even hold up 2-inch paper cardstock tags.
J. Lee
They've been sitting in my desk drawer for months, since there's really nothing I can do with them.
M. Beth
In the end, I put 5 magnet circles on each strip of paper hoping that would hold them up.

I am a teacher and needed some magnets to hold up small strips of paper with words on them. I read a review from another teacher who said that these magnets could hold up paper and figured they would be good enough. However, I decided to print the words on cardstock and laminate them so that they would last longer. Turns out that maybe these magnets are strong enough to hold up one small piece of paper, but they are definitely not strong enough to hold up a small strip of laminated cardstock paper. In the end, I put 5 magnet circles on each strip of paper hoping that would hold them up. They stay up, but if a student points to it and accidently touches it slightly, they fall right off. It has turned into such a headache during lessons that I am going to take them all off, throw them away and buy something else. Luckily they weren't that expensive, but I very much wish I had known that they can't hold up cardstock so that I wouldn't have wasted my time, money and energy on them. If you are thinking you might use these to hold up anything more than a very small strip of paper, do not buy them!

As an educator, I use these magnets all the time. They are great for hanging up visuals. They are meant to hold light weight things like posting schedules or pictures on the fridge. I use them to post sentence strips on my whiteboard at school making it easier for me to change out visuals for my students. They are a little bit thicker than the paper they are meant to hold up. They are not meant for holding up heavier posters, although they will if you use a lot of them.

I got these for my deported Mac eyeshadows. They're the perfect size and hold the shadows in great. Since they are so this they don't add bulk yet are strong enough to hold each shadowing I think they would even work for depoted blushes too. Plus they have adhesive only on one side making it easy to attach. The price is great also. Two thumbs up. If I ever get through all of these ill defiantly be ordering more!

I am making gifts out of card stock that will be able to hang on the refrigerator. After reading several of the reviews I was a little skeptical, but figured, what can't hold thick paper!?!? Well, THIS PRODUCT DOES!!!! I assembled my Mickey Mouse Look-a-like gift complete with magnet and put it on my frig overnight. Bam Baby, It was still hanging there the next morning!

Well, on the positive side the adhesive on these does work quite well. The magnet stuck to my project no problem. That being said, the magnets themselves are THIN and therefore unable to hold my glass marbles on the fridge. I will never, ever buy these again!

These aren't the strongest magnets in the world, but great to use on my depotted MAC shadows to make a palette. No where near as strong as the magnets that came with my Zpalette, but they are still strong enough to stay in place but also move around as needed. The price cannot be beat - and for 100! Excited to have enough of these to create many more palettes in the future!

You could probably achieve more attraction by licking the back of whatever you're trying to magnetize. Learn from my mistake. This is a flim-flam operation!

These work great for me -- they're thin enough to be practically invisible, and strong enough to keep small items in place on a magnetic palette. Yes, if you're looking for something to hold a substantial amount of weight on a vertical surface, then you should look for a stronger (and thicker) magnet. But if you want a very thin magnet with an adhesive backing, then these are a good choice.
