My family loves this book - it is unique and fun to read. Great pictures and the rhyming text is very clever. I highly recommend it.

My 4 year old twin boys absolutely love this book. They love the part where one of the twins is found down the back of the chair! I love Margaret Mahy's beautiful use of vocabulary and her creative genius in storytelling. Highly recommended read!

Hilarious. My five-year-old LOVES this book. "Rack and ruin" is his new favorite phrase. Tons of new vocabulary here, as well as interesting alliterations and non-standard, refreshing rhymes. The rhythm of the text makes for a fun read-aloud. Illustrations and text placement are highly engaging. HIGHLY recommended.
