There are a lot of dressage books on the market. Some are rich in classical history. Some are deeply throughful, even complicated, taking years to fully comprehend. And then there are the ones that dressage riders can pick up, read, and understand without heavy contemplation.

Carl Hester, a well loved and respected British Olympic Team dressage rider & coach, put pen to paper with consideration to his audience. This concise dressage book is highly readable, very easy to digest, and has great photos supporting the text. I especially like the format of this book. It is very easy to pick up and use a quick reference.
