no roots in lava,

A film I wanted to see again, ever since I once showed it in a cinema myself. A nurse accompanies a Cape-Verdian man to his native island after he has tried to kill himself and finds that nobody seems to care much about him. A definite arthouse film, but impressive in imaging and psychology (though sometimes confusing, too).
