This is a great record from Jonny Corndawg, with increased production value and maintained songwriting chops. A worthy follow-up to I'm Not Ready To Be A Daddy, chock full of real country music with all the eccentricities and humor that country music used to have before they took all the art out of the genre. (Corndawg even name-checks some of the country music greats such as Billy Joe Shaver and Tom T. Hall on the record.)But Down on the Bikini Line isn't just for country music fans. The songwriting talent could crossover to indie rock fans or maybe even punk rock kids. God bless Jonny Corndawg!

Best doggone country album of the century. Luckily for his competitors, including himself, there's about 88 years to top it. Songs about parenting, travellin', a dog, bears, trucks, women, god; quintessential American songwriting at it's best, sincerity and a sense of humor sung with a sweet sweet voice and a pretty and dirty guitar. Don't sleep on this. Kudos, Jonny Fritz aka Corndawg. Can't wait to hear what's next.

This is a great album from Mr Corndawg. While he doesn't boast the strongest singing voice, he more than makes up for it with great songs, outstanding lyrics, and sincerity. He is also an exceptional leather worker and draws awesome pet portraits! I can't wait for his next album that was backed by Dawes. Keep up the great work Jonny I hope you will be making music for a long time!

Jonny Corndawg, or Jonny Fritz as he's currently known, has achieved true hipster country with his latest album. You don't have to enjoy country music to dig Corndawg's style. His brand of Dad Country reaches young and old listeners alike. The music is retro and the lyrics are contemporary. I highly recommend giving it a listen.
