About the Author
Karen Aspinwall holds a B.S. in Environmental Conservation and an M. Ed.Numerous in Curriculum Development. Formerly School Programs Manager at the Nationa Aquarium in Baltimore, she has over 17 years of experience teaching environmental science to children, adults and teachers.
Presently Karen operates the Cattail Company, a curriculum development development firm located in Maryland. She is also Executive Director of the Fair Hill Nature Education Center located in Northeastern Maryland.
The Cattail Company has developed curriculum for major new aquariums, provided scientific consulting and edutainment activity development for popular children's computer games, and produced children's educational books for government agencies.
