I forget what led me to buy this, but I'm sure glad I did. I'm new to country music (1-2 yrs.), but I know what I like. This album is full of well-crafted tunes, which sound like COUNTRY-not the big-hat, tight jeans, pretty-boy swingin' on cables silliness. For what it's worth, I also dig the Derailers, Merle Haggard, Mack Stevens, Stooges, Bad Brains(early),... real, unpretentious music.

Great Honky tonk country, January 11, 2007

Deep haunting voice, excellent guitar playing, this is honky tonk as it should be.
I could think of a dozen main stream country artists that should be exiled in favor of this band. No poppy, cheesy country here, just good stuff.
