I borrowed my friends mat,because mine had a hole in it and needed repairing.After using the exped mat just once in 30 degree temp.I knew i had to have one.I got mine in the mail today.From now on i will only use this mat and nothing else.This mat will replace my thermarest prolite 4 and ridgerest dlx.It is 2 inchs thicker and an R-value of 8.With both the prolite and ridge dlx combined i only got a 6 if i was lucky.There are only two downsides to this product,the weight and the stuff sack air bag can be a real pain sometimes.But this is the most comftable sleeping mat/pad you will ever sleep on.If your are into winter sports and/or camping of anykind this mat is a must buy.
