I order the lobster rolls and whoopie pies occasionally as a special treat for my family. My teenage son is particularly fond of them. They bring back memories of family trips to Maine, Boston, etc. Honestly, I think the lobster rolls we get from Hancock are even better :)

We encountered a shipping issue with our last order. It was not Hancock's fault but they went the extra mile to get our order to us in a timely manner and were really pleasant when I called to report the problem.

I am about to order this combination as a gift for my mother's 88th birthday. This will be the third time I have sent this to her as she absolutely loves this taste of Maine - she misses New England. She tells me it is always carefully packed in ice (I assume dry), and everything is fresh and tasty. She used to make Woopie pies as her own specialty, but she tells me these would give her some competition. She also reports the lobster comes in large pieces and is very flavorful. Order without hesitation!

OMG were these excellent. You have to toast the rolls like the directions say. Make sure you combine the lobster with the ingredients at the bottom of the container. Eat like there's no tomorrow. And when you get to the bottom of the box, dessert awaits. 6 Whoopie Pies. Not whoopie pies but WHOOPIE PIES. OMG I was full. I'm sure I read somewhere this box is a meal for one, right? That's what I'm telling the family, at least.

I have loved seafood since I was a kid and my dad took me to the North Avenue Market in Balitmore. Of all the types of seafood available my favorite is Lobster. When we travel to Maine, or Nantucket my entire family looks forward to lobster rolls It was a pleasure when we tried the Hancock Lobster company thru Amazon. The product was just like being there fresh cold and so very good, I would recommend them to anyone who loves lobster Four Stars +++

I suspect that if you grew up eating Maine lobster rolls, this would be a taste of your childhood, but for me they were just average. A hot dog bun with some lobster salad which was an average tasting sandwich. The whoopie pies were sweet, but the frosting in between is like the old fashioned lard based white frosting.
