This review is from: Lucian, II, The Downward Journey or The Tyrant. Zeus Catechized. Zeus Rants. The Dream or The Cock. Prometheus. Icaromenippus or The Sky-man. Timon or ... for Sale (Loeb Classical Library) (Hardcover)
If you like Lucian's bitting wit and cutting satire in the first volume you will love the second. More stories making fun of men and their pursuits and especially the philosophers that claimed to teach them a better way. The gods are prominent in the stories and add to the humor. I defiantly recommend especially for those who would like funnier introduction to the Greek philosophies.
