Mainstream industrial at its finest!,

A hard-hitting, grinding, thumping masterpiece, The Downward Spiral is one of only two Nine Inch Nails albums that can truly be called "industrial" (the other, of course, being "Broken"). Clocking in at just over an hour, this album is sure to have your ears bleeding and your mind screaming for more. Trent's pain and anguish can be felt through his intense vocal style, whether it be a scream (I Do Not Want This, Eraser) or a whisper (Piggy, Hurt). This album is also the one which jolted Nine Inch Nails into the mainstream, with "March of the Pigs" and the infamous "Closer". I highly recommend this album!

with the best songs that made nine all the more popular like closer and the march of the pigs if u dont get it u must be crazy
