I recently baught this book for my daughter who was interested in learning to dows, and it was an absolute treasure.it's very informative, and taught her quiet alot. i've been dowsing for a very very long time, and i even learned alot from it too. not to mention that the authors style of writing is delightful! this book is for everyone learning the art of dowsing!!!

For a beginner, this is a great book. It not only has information on how to use L-rods, but pendulums also, and not just for finding water or minerals, but for improving one's life as well. I liked its encouraging approach.

I first picked up this book at the library, and now I am buying my own copy. This is a must-have for anybody interested in esoteric phenomena and divination in general, and dowsing in particular. I found this book to be knowledgeable, level-headed and practical, and I was especially impressed with the author's honest description as to what to expect from dowsing, its limitations, and how the results can be influenced by the operator. I have ordered another one by this author, Omens, Oghams, and Oracles, and if that one is as good as this one, I can hardly wait to read it.

The book provides an overview of different tools for dowsing - using L rods, Y rod, bobber, pendulum, as well as body for dowsing. It contains many interesting stories - many of them seem to be taken from the books which are referenced at the end of this book, and if you already read other books on dowsing, you may recognize some of the stories.

You will find illustrations and photographs related to using different tools for dowsing, some recommended exercises and exploration of different areas of dowsing - finding water, oil, lost or hidden objects, using dowsing for healing, archaeological discoveries and more. Included are interesting profiles of three professional dowsers.

I am totally overwhelmed by the awesomeness of this book. This book is so amazing that it nearly defies description. Books such as this belong in the company of the classics of Western literature. For reasons that cannot be explained by ordinary humans this book has not won the Pulitzer Prize. I am completely stunned by this wonderful and amazing book. This book is so far beyond anything else out there that other books are like cheap comic books by comparison.

Some background: I am a private detective and bounty hunter. I have to locate specific people and do it very quickly. For years I relied on old antiquated methods to find missing people. I would use stuff like phone books, birth records, the internet and my personal contacts inside the FBI, IRS and CIA. Then I discovered the miracle science of dowsing. Those old methods just sucked compared with dowsing. Who knew that holding a stick out in front of me while I walked down the street could be so awesomely effective? With my magic high tech dowsing stick I am able to locate all kinds of people, some of them I didn't even know that I was looking for!

The other day I decided to look for Cher. You know, Cher, that old singer gal with the funny looking kid. Well, I didn't find her. But I did find someone who looked an awful lot like her. She said her name was Jasmine or something and asked me if I wanted a date. I said no, I was looking for Cher. Jasmine said that for an extra $50 she could pretend to be Cher. Well, that was good enough for me. Another successful dowsing location. Amazing. And awesome, too.

Next I tried to help my neighbor find a water line for his sprinkler system. That worked, too. Sort of. I told him where to dig and he dug and he dug until he broke into an old abandoned septic tank. Boy, was he ever pissed off. Still that dowsing stuff worked again.

Since I have read this totally awesome and groundbreaking book I am confident that I will be able to find Jimmy Hoffa. And then I'm going to go to work locating Oboma's college transcripts. Or maybe one of his old girlfriends. They say that Oboma never had any girlfriends but that doesn't make sense. I'm gonna find them with my high tech dowsing stick for sure. How could Oboma not have any old girlfriends? No matter. Miracle dowsing stick will find them. Yay, dowsing!
