EXCELLENT!
Dr.Ackerman does a wonderful job of making sure the reader understands the Great Dane. He lets it be known that the Great Dane isn't for everyone because of it's incredible size. He talks about all the different diseases,temperament,breeding,showing,etc.I highly recommened this book to the Great Dane owner to-be.

A lot of Nothing
As I read through Dr. Ackerman's Book if the Great Dane, I found myself wanting more information than what was given. It was almost as if the author was trying to beat a deadline; so minimal information was given on a vast number of subjects. If you are getting a Dane or have a Dane and wanting a book to help you get a better understanding of the breed, look elsewhere...
