5.0 out of 5 stars Convenient!
This sterilizer is a real time saver. Long gone are the days of boiling water on the stove! We sterilize bottles, breastpump accessories and pacifiers in here all at the same time. Put 6 oz of water in the bottom and pop it in the microwave for six minutes and you're done. That easy.

1. The instructions are terrible. This sterilizer requires you to put your bottles and accessories inside the steamer in a very exact way to make everything fit. The instructions with the diagrams to show you how to do this are almost microscopically small. I ended up having to use the pictures on the box to figure out how all the pieces fit inside and even then, I'm...

5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT A TIME SAVER!!, May 26, 2007
This review is from: Dr. Brown's Four Bottle Microwave Steam Sterilizer (Baby Product)
I love this product, it saves me so much time. I keep a bowl of hot soapy water next to my sink and when I finish using a bottle I disassemble it and put it in the bowl. At the end of the day I rinse off all of the parts, put them in the sterilizer and zap them in the microwave! I also throw the pacifiers in as well. I would recommend this to anyone using Dr. Browns bottles who knows how long it takes to wash all of the little parts!

This bottle sterilizer is a great time saver. Zap it in the microwave for five minutes and bottles are done. I do not recommend that you use it if you have a large amount of bottles to clean, it's easier to boil them! It's great for sterilizing pacifier's too!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, but could be better, September 10, 2007
This review is from: Dr. Brown's Four Bottle Microwave Steam Sterilizer (Baby Product)
Good product - does the job - but setting up the bottles as directed can be a bit tricky and awkward.
I have the Dr. Brown's Natural Flow bottles (not the wide neck ones). I've set up the bottles according to the instructions and diagrams, but somehow all the parts don't seem to fit snugly in place. Feels as though I am playing a game to get everything to fit properly and stay put while I put the unit into the microwave.
Maybe I've got it wrong.
Bottom line - functions well, but the design/set-up could be better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, March 25, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dr. Brown's Four Bottle Microwave Steam Sterilizer (Baby Product)
This works exactly as the product description says. Easy to fill, works like a dream. I have the wide neck bottles mainly which I expect it was designed for. The long skinny bottles, although they do fit, are more problematic to organize in the sterilizer. That would be my only disappointment if I had the skinny bottles (I only have the one that came with it). It is wonderful to rest assured that my son's bottles are sterile when I make up his formula.

Would definitely recommend having used this product for about six weeks on a daily basis. Good product, good price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome - Way better than boiling bottles, July 9, 2007
This review is from: Dr. Brown's Four Bottle Microwave Steam Sterilizer (Baby Product)
This is so much easier than boiling bottles, especially with all those Dr. Brown's bottle parts. I highly recommend soaking the parts in soapy water overnight, rinsing, and popping them in this. If my daughter actually used pacifiers, then I would use this to sterilize those as well, like others have mentioned. I don't want to repeat everyone else's raves, but they were right, this is wonderful!

1. The instructions are terrible. This sterilizer requires you to put your bottles and accessories inside the steamer in a very exact way to make everything fit. The instructions with the diagrams to show you how to do this are almost microscopically small. I ended up having to use the pictures on the box to figure out how all the pieces fit inside and even then, I'm not sure I'm putting them together quite right.

2. For the standard bottles, the tabs that are supposed to hold the bottles up at an angle don't quite fit right. At first, I couldn't even get the bottles in place because the tabs were lying so flat. I ended up using a knife to pry the tabs up slightly so that they would hold the bottles. Now, the bottles don't always stay up at an angle. I end up leaning them against each other in the circle just to maintain the correct angle.

Other than the 2 above issues, the sterilizer works fine, it's convenient when you don't want to boil bottles or run them through the dishwasher. I often throw pacifiers and other things in as well so I don't end up using my Medela steam bags too often. The container is fairly large, about 14 inches in diameter. It does fill up my microwave. I would be concerned if I had a smaller microwave that this would not fit.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Satisfied, January 25, 2009

I'm very satisfied with the loading process and how fast the sterilization is. Loading the long bottles is a challenge but manageable.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must have for parents of twins, September 5, 2008

Great product. So easy to sterilize.
However, do not sterilize the wheel of the Dr Browns pitcher in there. It will change shape.... and not be round any longer!

In short, very easy to use, must for bottle feeders, very efficient, sterilizes well. Make sure to clean the bottle and other components well, before putting it in this.
