I freeze these flat in my freezer and then they stand up nice and thin.

Never had a leak, easy to label, sturdy double seal, and easy to pour from bag to bottle.

I have used just about every brand of storage bags and these are by far the best.

update (7/11/2012): 5 months now since I first used these bags. I'm done nursing and we started to use all the saved up milk. Out of the 150 bags I used in the past 5 months, I did have <5 bags leaked from the beginning. All were from the same batch/box. I think the brand has quality issue. However, I am experiencing bag leaking during defrosting. At first, I figure, maybe the leak bags are the few I might have dropped to the ground when shifting things around in the freezer. But I got one bag (5/8), newer milk that leaked again during defrosting and I know I have not drop any since April. My husband just told me now that he likes these bags, they feels more sturdy. Overall, would I continue using these bags? I think so because it is cheaper, holds more and the leaked bags could be my fault (since the leak were at the bottom and for sure they were not leaking at first). Oh, forgot to mention, the 5 bags leaked straight from the box were leaking at the top, at one end of the sealer, it just leaks. I try to reclose few times and milk just keeps coming out from one end. looks to me a quality issue.
================
I was Medela bag user for my first 2 kids and on my third kid, after reading another user's review, I decided to try these brand, because it is cheaper than Medela. For my needs, these bags are just as good, cheaper, and I love the bigger size.

For the first time moms, here are my cons and pros and I will try to explain everything in detail. I have one Medela (backpack style) for all my kids, so I only know/use Medela stuffs.

These storage bags are a little pricey, but the material is thicker/stronger than the Lansinoh bags (which I had a leakage problem with) and it has the double closure (which the Medela bags do not). The labels are easy to mark and they stand upright and the measurements are pretty accurate. I use these with the first years milk storage organizer and it works great.

9/13/12: UPDATE: I spent the past 12 months repeatedly buying this bag and paying the premium for it because of the quality: the thickness of the bag and double seal. The premium over other brands is big: NUK costs $9.79 for 50 and Honeysuckle costs $11.00 for 50, Medela and Lansinoh also cheaper). However, the last shipment of bags (I bought 3 boxes) was a terrible disappointment as the bags were noticeably and significantly thinner - same exact thickess as all the cheaper versions. Of all the bags out there (i've tried at least 5 brands), I recommend the Honeysuckle Breast Milk Storage Bags, 50 Bags (2 Packs of 25) as they are equal in quality of the Simplisse (double seal as well) and a lot cheaper.

I was OK with paying the premium price for Simplisse because of the thickness. But that advantage is now gone as they are making them thinner and cheaper, the same thinness as cheaper bags. If they're going to make them cheaper, the price should become cheaper as well. I returned the last order I placed and bought all Honeysuckle. Medela and Lansinoh are both are too thin and leak like crazy especially if you freeze them and then defrost them.

We have twins and are having frozen breast milk shipped to us via fedex twice a week on a combination of wet ice and freezer packs in a styrofoam container (Insulated Shipping Containers, 13 3/4" x 11 3/4" x 11 7/8"; http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ZJSH3I/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_6). The bags were not overfilled and were frozen flat. We found out early that some bags do not hold up well so I ordered every single breast milk bag I could and kept track of how they did (I am a scientist). Here are the results from worst to best (NOTE: this review is most relevant if you are shipping breast milk as fedex is not gentle on packages; if you are not shipping other bags we don't like might be fine but I can tell you which is best overall). Hope you can learn from our experience.

Honeysuckle breast milk storage bags: terrible. More than half of these broke during shipping whereas in the same shipment other bag types held up well. I would avoid these.

Lansinoh breast milk storage bags: second worst. About 1/4-1/3 of these typically broke/leaked upon shipping. It is not hard to tell they are the flimsiest. P.S. If you use these, a tip I found to help thaw them is to put each bag in a zip lock so it the bag leaks you can still use what stays in the bag (versus what leaks into the ziplock).

Medela breast milk storage bags: ok, not great. Hold up better than Honeysuckle and Lansinoh. About 1/6 - 1/5 of these would break/leak. They are also more difficult to pour out of and tend to lose a little milk in the pouring process (trick is to pour fast out of these).

Ameda breast milk storage bags: never used them as they come with twist ties and not ziplock seals.

Dr. Brown's breast milk storage bags: work great. never had one break.
