We have twins, and before getting this product, we were hand washing bottles ALL the time. This is a huge time saver! There are little holes and places to put all of the pieces, and everything comes out sterilized. My only complaint is that the nipples and collars don't exactly fit in their places. It doesn't seem to affect how clean they get. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is strictly using bottles, or for parents of multiples.

I am using it ten times a day! it keeps the bottle clean.

Two things to remember:

1. add enough water to avoid burn

2. clean the sterilizer often

The sterilizer is a must have for every mom with babies. Sterilizing is a breeze, it takes 6 minutes and is very easy. Just place all bottles and parts and pour water and microwave for 6 minutes. I don't use the tongs that came with this product, since I leave the items in there until I need to use them. I also sterilize breast pump parts.
It holds upto 4 8oz wide neck bottles and parts.

Have used the sterilizer for a year. It's easy to load. You put the nipples in, then you put the "straw" in a center-side hole to the right of the nipple, then you put the straw holder in on the outer-side hole in front of the nipple, you put the lid (if you use the lid) in the center, and finally you put the bottle in. Repeat this for each bottle. We have twin granddaughters and this was very adequate.

We are so glad we got this sterilizer. It's so much easier and faster than boiling. After washing bottles, I add 6 oz. water, put it in the microwave for 5 minutes, and walk away. It's that easy. With boiling, we had to wait for the water to boil, stick around the kitchen while the bottles boiled, stirring them around a bit, and then use tongs to clumsily get them out of the water. I really recommend this microwave sterilizer.

My wife insisted on getting this because killing 99.9 % of germs with soap and hot water is not good enough. I'm not convinced that sterilizing the bottles actually keeps them sterile for more than 1 hour after they're removed from the microwave either, but what do I know?

We got it anyway, and I am almost happy about it. Not because it's a great product that does what it says it will do with ease. But, because it was so irritating to try to stand up the bottles that I just crammed all the bottles, nipples, and other things into a stack one day, put the top on, and popped it in the microwave. My wife refuses to let me use Dr. Brown's contraption now, so I no longer have to wash the bottles.

If you have bottles that bend, they will tip over. If you lay them on their sides, I don't think they will sterilize correctly. Also, the surface area inside the product is not that big, so if you lay the bottles on their sides then you will only be able to wash about 5 bottles. You will have to lean each bottle onto the adjacent bottle all the way around the sterilizer to keep them upright; you have to delicately place each bottle in a circle so that the last bottle is resting on the first bottle; now you have all of the other parts to squeeze in. There are no sections or shelves for nipples, so those get crammed into whatever space you can find. Washers, rings, and other components... you just stack those on top of the bottles and nipples. Try to do all of this without tipping over your original Stonehenge of bottles, good luck.

By the way, the bottles have to be thoroughly cleaned with soap and hot water before you even begin to build your Stonehenge. If I knew this would be such a hassle, I would have just purchased a dishwasher instead. If you don't have the option to buy a dishwasher, look for a sterilizer that makes it easy to stack the bottles upright.

I have been using this product for the last 3 month. I breastfeed my son exclusively, until I returned back to work, sterilze bottle wasn't a good deal because we rarely use any, I just boil the bottles in a big pot of water for 3 min. then I started pumping at work, packing milk for him to eat at daycare, all of the sudden there are a lot of things need to be washed and sterilize, so a sterilizer really come in handy. Keep in mind that this is NOT a bottle washer, bottles and parts NEED to be cleaned before you put them inside the sterilizer.
Pros:
1 quick sterilizing
2 large space
3 the tong! who wants to take out burning hot bottles by hand!
Cons:
1 it's designed for Dr. Browns bottle so if you use other brand you have to use some strategies to place your bottles in it
2 water stain does build up at the bottom after a while. but if you use filtered water it might be better

The steam sterilizer is remarkably user friendly and cleans parts in five minutes - much faster than waiting for an entire dishwasher cycle to run. It includes helpful instructions for how to place the Dr. Brown's bottles inside to maximize the use of space. I've also found that it works well for quickly sterilizing the Medela pump parts, which eliminates the need to buy the Medela steam clean bags.
