5.0 out of 5 stars good buy
These are great for when your baby is ready to move up to the next flow level, usually around 3 months. I noticed that my son was collapsing the level 1 nipples and making lots of loud sucking noises/getting frustrated while eating, beginning a couple of weeks ago, so I picked up some of these level 2's and it fixed the problem. Something else to note is that these...

3.0 out of 5 stars Had to stop using due to reflux
My daughter had such bad reflux that she would choke any time she ate. At about 3 months I switched to the level 2 nipples and she started choking more. She will be 5 months next week and she is still on level 1. She chokes much much less than she used to so I may try them again, but not for a while. If your baby has reflux and chokes while eating, don't switch! I...

Something else to note is that these nipples will work well with the Born Free wide neck bottles too (I use a combo of Born Free and Dr. Brown's bottles). They are exactly the same as the Born Free nipple (so far as I can tell), but they are considerably cheaper!

I couldn't find the wide neck nipples anywhere locally so I used the net. These work wonderfully and make feeding time so much quicker. My baby has less gas and a smoother flow. You really can't use them until 10-12 weeks unless you want your baby to be wearing the formula instead of drinking it.( i say this from experience) :) Good purchase.

My daughter wouldn't take the narrow bottle.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dr. Brown's bottles/nipples are a great invention, January 20, 2009
This review is from: Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Level 2 Wide Neck Nipple, 3 Pack (Baby Product)
We have used Dr. Brown's bottles and nipples since our first daughter was born, for about 5 years. We now have 3 children and this is the only brand we use.
We would not trade them for anything else. Our kids rarely have gas or colic, and rarely spit-up, even though they have reflux. These bottles are the main reason for their digestive well-being, in our opinion. Likewise with the nipples. And now the bottles are safer to use, as they are offered in glass and/or bpa-free plastic versions. They are a little pricey, but well worth the investment. We would not trade our Dr. Brown's sets for anything else on the market.

4.0 out of 5 stars Love these!, January 19, 2011

Both of my girls have used Dr Browns bottles and have had an easy transition to the level 2 nipples. My only complaint is that i have 11 bottles and amazon will only allow me to order 3 packs of nipples. These aren't available anywhere locally so it was a bit frustrating to have to order one pack from elsewhere.

It's a long story how we made it to the wide-mouthed dr. brown's bottles and nipples... but I've been very happy with them. The entire system works pretty well.

My daughter has reflux and was previously breast-fed, this is the only bottle that worked for her!

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Nipple, but I Switched Bottles, November 17, 2009

If you like Dr. Brown's bottles, these are great nipples. My baby had an easy transition from level 1 to these level 2 nipples. However, I eventually went back to using Playtex drop-ins and then the Nuk bottles---because I could not tell a difference in his gas/fussiness with the Dr. Brown's. I know people who swear by them, but they didn't make a difference for us, and they are such a pain to clean.

These nipples are probably the softest silicone ones you can find, so that's a plus. But my baby loves the Nuk nipples, and he does just as well or even better with those bottles as he does with Dr. Brown's (and Avent made him super gassy).
