Customer Reviews

The cover is very difficult to get on the darn pillow!
Pamela M. Dickens
This is a great product, it is easy to remove and put back on, doesn't stain easily and doesn't shrink when washed.
Brosy
This cover is sturdy with high quality fabric and the Beco one has cute little elephants stitched all over it.

I bought the Beco and I'm very disappointed with the quality.
As other reviewers said:
- Opening does not have zipper or buttons ( it's a good thing) BUT the seam does not stay closed so we see the cushion. If the pillow wasn't asymmetric this wouldn't be a problem but as you need to turn it over when you nurse on one side and the other, you end up seeing the opening 1/2 time you use the pillow. They could have used a little more fabric to solve this problem.
- The fabric is of poor quality. Not only the quilted elephants threads are pulling out but the fabric itself has threads that broke up and are pulling out. I've been gently using it for only 1 month and washed it once.

So I'm probably going to end up asking a relative to sew me another pillow cover, with a better quality fabric and a tab a bit longer on the opening. I don't know if the other fabric options are better in quality but there is absolutely no way I spend another 20$ just to know!

I love the pillow, but this is my second case because the stitching keeps coming apart. Also, they are a little tight and very very hard to get on after a wash. But it's a cute design and a great color.

This cover is sturdy with high quality fabric and the Beco one has cute little elephants stitched all over it. To put it on, just scrunch it up and stuff the pillow in it. I don't think it's difficult. I am glad I bought this cover. I even washed and tumble dried it (on low), and it still fits just fine.

Since the Gia is not symmetrically shaped like the Bobby, I'm forced to flip it upside down when I use it for one side of the breast. However, this pillow cover has the opening seam right where the baby's head goes on the thicker side of the "coma". The cover is kind of tight, so the seam is left ajar a bit since no zipper or buttons to keep it closed shut. Why couldn't they put a zipper on the side like all the boppy covers do??

I love this cover! It is made very well, the embroidery is beautifully done, and it held up well after its first wash. I am very pleased with this purchase. I even ordered one for my friend who is due a week before me!

Update: The cover is great, has held up well after a month's use. One small tip: put the small end of the pillow into it first, otherwise you will struggle to get it all the way into the end of the cover as the pillow is very plush.

I love, love, love this nursing pillow cover. It's a great color and easy to clean when it gets dirty.

Very cute, however there were a lot of little loose loops of thread that could be a danger to babies little fingers. I trimmed them off and it doesn't seem to affect the stitching at all.

For a newborn tiny baby and a mom new to breastfeeding I would probably recommend the My BrestFriend pillow, it's just more structured and harder to screw up. However, after a while (a month?) I was looking for something easier to maneuver in. My hungry baby would scream and cry when I had to put him down to strap on the My BrestFriend. Now this is my preferred nursing pillow, especially for middle of the night feeding. I love the versatility of the angled design, and it's got a great firmness to it with just the right amount of give. It's also heavy enough that I feel secure with it on my lap, doesn't feel like baby is going to roll off. If baby is having trouble latching on its easy to give the pillow a little tug and help him.
