Helps maintain vitamins C, A & E plus lipids. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe, BPA free . Includes 3 - 8oz bottles with Level One Nipples, 2 - 4oz bottles with Level One Nipples, 2 - Level 2 Nipples, 2 - Storage/Travel Caps, 3 - Cleaning Brushes.

Product Description

The Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Standard Baby Bottles offer a wonderful feeding experience with innovative vent technology. Dr Brown's bottles use a patented 2-piece internal vent system for your baby's comfort. This system creates positive-pressure flow for vacuum-free feeding that is similar to breastfeeding. The breast milk or formula flows freely without nipple collapse. As the baby feeds, air is channeled from the nipple collar through the vent system to the back of the bottle. Air never mixes with the breast milk or formula so oxidation is prevented, thereby maintaining essential vitamins such as C, A and E. The vent system eliminates air bubbles in the formula or milk, which helps to reduce feeding problems like colic, spit-up, burping and gas. Dr. Brown's bottles are completely BPA, PVC, lead and phthalate free for your baby's safety. The Newborn Feeding Set comes with 3 8oz/240ml Standard bottles, 2 4oz/120ml Standard bottle, 2 extra Level-Two silicone nipples, 2 Storage/Travel caps and 3 cleaning brush.

I've tried many bottles and these are the best.

There are extra parts to the bottle and may be cumbersome in cleaning, but it's well worth it!

These bottles really do seem to reduce gas and spit up.

We just started pumping and introducing a bottle in preparation for my return to work. Our 4 1/2 week old daughter took this bottle with zero hesitation and is now going back and forth between breastfeeding and bottle beautifully. All the parts sounded intimidating but are actually very easy to use and clean. Neither my husband or I had ever bottle fed a baby before, and we figured it out without difficulty.

For any other first-time, clueless parents out there: this set comes with a size 1 (newborn)nipple attached to each bottle (5 total) and 2 size 2 nipples that are extras. I didn't see anywhere in the description that said the size 1's were included (just listed the size 2 nipples)and having never done this before we didn't realize the Size 1's came as part of the bottle, so I ordered the newborn size separately. Oops, but we'll use them.

I have been looking for a bottle that my daughter will not reject. My daughter was using The First Years Breastflow BPA Free Starter Set, but suddenly rejected the bottle. We noticed that she became very gassy with those bottles, so tried the Dr. Brown's bottles, which were recommended by my home daycare provider. I believe that the venting system is important, as the Breastflow nipple would collapse completely while she was drinking, making it harder to draw milk. However, the nipple on the Dr Brown's bottle was so long and narrow my daughter would gag regularly as the nipple hit the back of her throat.

The bottle also leaked from the sides/vent after returning to an upright position even though I filled the bottle below the max fill line.

A little advice: if you are trying to find the perfect bottle for your baby, keep in mind that all babies are different. My son would take ANY bottle without a problem, and now my daughter is on her 4th bottle, and I still haven't found the perfect one. Both of my children were breastfeeding exclusively at the time. I suggest buying single bottles at a store and trying it before ordering large starter kits.

I recently purchased the BreastFlow by First Years for my 3 wk son. He seemed to drink pretty well from them, but the flow was too fast and the nipples seem to collapse. It was kind of a pain to squeeze the nipple to get the milk back into the bottle.
My friends told me about the Dr. Brown bottles and showed me the nipple flow. I bought some based on my friends recommendation and have fell in love with the bottles. My son drinks slower, has less gas, and does not spit up as much. I would highly recommend these bottles to anyone who breastfeeds and pumps, or breast and formula feed. My son did not realize he was full for 10-15 minutes after using the BreastFlow bottles, with the Dr. Brown's (because of the slower flow nipples that simulate the actual breast flow speed) my son realizes he is full soon after his feeding.
Definately worth the money, wish I would have known about the differences in the compared products nipple flow and I wouldn't have wasted my money on the BreastFlow bottles.
The only downside to the Dr. Brown bottles is that it is more time consuming to wash the bottles because of the extra pieces, but that is minor compared to the satisfaction my son receives from each feeding due to the nipple flow and decreased air intake.

my baby's pediatrician recommended these. Baby has less gas, rarely throws up or spits up, and seems to like them too.

The Dr. Brown bottles were recommended to me by a friend with a special needs child who had done a lot of research. And I must say he was right. Even with the extra parts (which are necessary for the vacuum-less bottle design), I haven't had any problems with the bottles. No leaks, cleanup is easy, and our baby (our second) took right to them.

I will say one thing: You really need a dishwasher and the dishwasher basket to wash these effortlessly. Otherwise there are a bunch of parts to keep track of. Also, you should rinse the bottles after use. Milk is hard to clean off anything after it has dried.

I have been very happy with these and can recommend them wholeheartedly.

I love these feeding bottles. I used different types of feeding bottles (Dr.Brown's, AVENT, Playtax) and Dr.Brown's is the winner. The ad said "Reduces colic, spit up, burping and gas". I have to say ' it is true'.

I have been through a ton of BPA free bottles and this is by FAR the best one yet. My baby loves these bottles and they clean up great. Yes, there are many parts but clean up is a breeze! I would MOST definitely recommend these!!!

I did a ton of research on bottles (or so I thought) before we decided on Tommee Tippee bottles. We used them up until baby was 3 weeks. Using them wasn't so bad at first, but only because we didn't know better. After baby started spitting up, too young and too much, I bought one Dr Brown bottle. In 2-minutes we were in love with these bottles (I bought tons within 3-minutes on amazon).

Bad Tommee Tippee. Good Dr. Brown:
* It was impossible to take off the cap with one hand on Tommee Tippee. I now know, one-handed up-capping is really critical during feeding time.
* Baby could drink 2-ounces without having to be burped. She did not drip, leak or drool milk either.
* Her burps became baby-like (instead of the trucker-guy-like tenfold...we just thought babies burped like that!)
* She has less blistering on her lips from sucking on the smaller Dr. Brown nipples.

Bad Dr. Brown. Okay Tommee Tippee
* Dr. Brown bottles are ugly (I'm an aesthetic junkie but now have let that go)
* Takes longer to clean (but worth it for 100% happier and easier baby feedings)
