3.0 out of 5 stars Good Read, August 2, 2011

This is the last in the (first) Prescription Marriage trilogy by Rimmer, Susan Mallery and Christine Flynn.

I am a big fan of the author, and I enjoyed this book. (But the Bravo books remain my favorite).

I liked the heroine. She does a job she loves, has valued relationships with her girlfriends, and does a lot of fantasizing about wild romantic scenarios involving our hero. (Cracked me up.) And that's not because she is languishing under an unrequited love, but as he obliquely points out himself, because that's all she really wanted. If she wanted to date, instead of daydream about it, she would have. It's real. So was her self-sabotage at the end of the book, which is all the sadder for being so real.

SPOILER ALERT: My absolute favorite thing was that when the hero's behaviour turned at work, the author didn't whitewash it as happens in most Category Romances. She labeled it correctly as harrassment, and the characters - including the heroine - were willing to call him on it, and even charge him with it. SO refreshing.

3.0 out of 5 stars another good book, April 11, 2000
This review is from: Dr. Devastating (Paperback)
This is a book in teh prescription:marriage series. I found it to be the best book in teh series. It is about an average woman who actually attracts prince charming and she turns him down. Of course he is persistent until finally she decides to go out with him. When he decides to make a commitment though she is the one who isn't sure if it is time. In this book instead of the man being afraid on commitment it is teh woman. this was a great way to spend a cold snowy day.
